It is absolutely essential that pro-Canada Albertans stop repeating the separatist trope that “Alberta’s grievances are legitimate.” The grievances used separatists to justify leaving Canada are NOT legitimate. It’s a grift run by con men. Stop reinforcing their talking points!

Danielle Smith’s solution? She told Albertans to lock in a power rate.
The cost of living is already out of control in this province. It is irresponsible for the Premier to bring in massive data centres without knowing exactly how much they will cost Albertans, or whether the benefits are even worth it.
Asking Albertans to simply pay more is not a solution.
The Alberta NDP has called for a pause on new data centre approvals until a fair and robust framework is in place. Albertans deserve a government that does its homework, understands the costs and benefits, and makes responsible decisions that put Albertans first.

When I graduated high school I believed Albertans got a bad deal from Canada. But I grew up. I paid attention over decades and learned the oil companies' and government's propaganda was BS. Both need Albertans to have victim complexes.

Lawsuits should never be used to intimidate people or diminish political competition. A Tory government will introduce anti-SLAPP legislation to help prevent this.

The UCP sued us over the PC trademarks, they’ve sought court injunctions to stop us from using the name and demanded $500,000 in damages.
Now those trademarks have been ordered expunged after the UCP failed to provide evidence beyond “bare assertions” that they were still in use.
So why is the lawsuit still continuing?
