Too often, great ideas never leave the notebook because we think someone else has already built them or that we’re not ready.
Every impactful business started with someone who believed their solution could make a difference.
Whether you’re building a startup, launching a side project, or solving a problem in your community, don’t let self-doubt stop you.
Your solution doesn’t have to change the world overnight.
It just needs to make a difference to someone.
Build it. Share it. Keep improving

As we pray, let us also remember those who are silently suffering in toxic workplaces. Many people are carrying pain, stress, and emotional exhaustion behind professional smiles.

I've always been intrigued by the challenge of maximizing the efficiency of large language models. Recently, I took a deep dive into optimizing LLaMA 3.2, and the results were nothing short of eye-opening.
Since setting up my deep learning workstation, I have been using 4-bit dynamic fixed-point quantization. I fully understand that it comes with trade-offs, particularly in model accuracy and performance. However, over the weekend—and continuing into today—I decided to take an entirely different approach: running LLaMA 3.2 in full precision on my local setup.
It was a nerve-wracking start—loading the model in full precision pushed my system to its limits, and the setup took significantly longer than usual. But once it was ready, the results were stunning.
Yet, I didn’t stop there. Enter the Lottery Ticket Hypothesis—a concept suggesting that neural networks contain smaller, high-performing subnetworks. Inspired by this, I dove into pruning, meticulously identifying and removing low-magnitude weights and underutilized components in the model.
Today, I felt like a detective—uncovering, isolating, and fine-tuning the most critical layers, or the “winning ticket” as it was rightly called by Jonathan Frankle and Michael Carbin in their original paper within LLaMA’s architecture.
Even though I’m still in the midst of this journey, I’m making steady progress. Slowly but surely, I aim to create a leaner, more efficient model that reduces computational load while delivering exceptional results. This project has been challenging but immensely rewarding, and I’m excited to see where it leads.
