I've also been seeing "well the ratings are going up." They are not, it's another lie being sold. Last year was the lowest-viewed season in the history of the sport. jayski.com/2023/11/10/final-…
The champion was never crowned with three races to go in the Latford system. Only 5 times (18%) was the champion decided before the penultimate race.

It appears we have a fan base full of entertainment lovers and not racing lovers.

In this story JD shares that he panicked & took his kid to the emergency room when he was totally fine. Instead of being relieved by that good news he got upset that there are translators in the hospital helping the sick. This must’ve been before he was Catholic.
JD Vance whines about translators in hospitals and says, "how about if everyone just spoke English?"

What's good for TV is not inherently good for the sport. Are we a reality show, or a legitimate sport? The greatest failing of NASCAR leadership from the aughts to now is thinking we should be entertainment first. Be a sport first.
Replying to @ElCaminoBilly
How is someone locking the championship up before the last race of the season better for the sport than doing it in the Chase format?

Yes, to be abundantly clear. This is precisely what I want as a fan! I am appreciating what we saw. we returned legitimacy to the format. The lights have been bright since Darlington Couldn’t be happier unless they went full season points and put skinny tires back on
Huh - I was told emphatically last year around this time this year’s format is what people wanted - now I’m hearing from fans that are pissed a guy could wrap it up before the season ends 🤷🏼‍♂️

I feel like it will take a few years of the Chase to reverse the damage of NASCAR’s playoff format. I promise it would be OK if there are no championship implications at Homestead. NASCAR doesn’t need a “Game 7,” just like the Brewers in the World Series.

Potential hot take: If you don’t take issue with a driver clinching a week early in the Chase (you shouldn’t), then they might as well be running full season points anyway.

For the record, lecturing an Augustinian Pope on the meaning of the Just War theory first promulgated by St. Augustine is not going to end well. 🤦‍♂️

It’s a stain on the country that we’ve never thrown him out of office. President Trump on the rape enabler’s ad: “I suggested, on the other hand, that Vivek should keep it up, and let everyone listen to the mother . . . explain how the daughter is a DISASTER who, uncontrollably, lies, cheats, and steals! The Press is trying to convince everyone that this Ad is bad, because it's so good! Who wouldn't use such an Ad? I would, it's called, ‘hitting pay dirt.’”
President Trump strongly defends Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mom. Trump: “That took a lot of courage to do but, essentially, what she was really doing was saving Ohio from making a truly horrible choice! The Press is trying to convince everyone that this Ad is bad, because it’s so good! Who wouldn’t use such an Ad? I would, it’s called, ‘hitting pay dirt.’”

Vance endlessly tone polices Democrats. He and his buddies got private citizens fired from their jobs for making jokes about Charlie Kirk. But now @JDVance tells REPUBLICANS disgusted by @VivekGRamaswamy's ad about Amy Acton to "stop whining." Vance believes in nothing.
Vance’s response to the ad featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother: “Politics is a tough business, and my message to my fellow elected Republicans is: if you actually believe in the things you say you believe in, stop whining about an advertisement and go win the race in 13 days."

I can't even come up with a snarky caption that makes this photo any funnier than it already is.
Stood next my wife and told her exactly how to vote. For the record, zero “coercion” required. It brings her joy to aid her husband in crushing wicked men like James Talarico.

Not laughing. Just seeing what we tried to tell everyone back then. He’s a bad guy. It’s a shame he continues to get away with it.
Nikki Haley and the Haley girls must be laughing their tits off tonight. LOL. OMG. Vivek FAIL.

Bring it back @AD_DannyWhite and @UK__Battman
You’ve done a great job of listening to fans, @AD_DannyWhite. This time we’re asking once again to bring back the barrel.
