As usual Joe, you caught the key point in the OPP release that many of the anti-police folks didnโt: The home own was NOT charged for defending himself and his family. He WAS charged for illegally possessing firearms. Thereโs a difference between lawfully using force when fearing for your life and possessing firearms that were unlawfully acquired or unsafely stored.

โ๏ธ Death toll from Krakow shooting rises to 6
Lesser Poland Police reported that another victim of the attack in Krakowโs Main Market Square has died.
According to the latest police figures, six people have been killed โ four women and two men.

At around 3:00 p.m., an unidentified gunman opened fire on pedestrians from a car traveling from Sลawkowska Street toward Krakowโs Main Market Square.
According to preliminary reports, five people have been killed and others injured. The death toll has not yet been officially confirmed.
Emergency services are at the scene, and a medical helicopter has landed in the square. Police are searching for the armed attacker. Residents and tourists are urged to avoid the area and seek shelter in a safe location.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he is receiving regular updates from the interior minister. Police are investigating all circumstances surrounding the attack.

The officer was wounded while confronting the attacker who opened fire on civilians in the city's historic centre.

Authorities now say the attacker was a POLISH citizen who acted ALONE.
That directly contradicts earlier claims circulating on social media that another shooter had escaped and police were hunting for an accomplice.
The gunman was shot and detained after opening fire in Krakรณw's historic Main Market Square, killing FIVE people and wounding more than a dozen, including police officers.
