Access the MSP website -> mhpssmsp.org/en to support:
- Identify & address gaps in #MHPSS response
- Advocate & communicate MHPSS needs & gaps
- Decide which programme activities to prioritize
- Obtain guidance on what actions to take when implementing each activity
This is something we talk about in monitoring and evaluation-- a LOT. Well-meaning attempts to gather more data, ostensibly to improve care, can actually undermine it.
In the context of #mentalhealth, with huge human resource shortages, time lost = lost patients. @MINDME_Africa
"Every hour lost to poorly designed administrative activity is an hour not spent examining, teaching, or treating."
Administrative overload harms patient care and wastes clinical time, @SammyArab @KaranChhatwal_ @HamaadAKhan

"Member Checking & the Importance of Context" - Expecting participants to think & respond as they did when they shared their lived experiences w/ the researcher is unreasonable. In-the-moment, question-answer member checking is a better quality option. bit.ly/3o5Fe4c
