We all know who @beeple is. But did you know he created one of the most limited TCG collections in all of Web3? It's called Pre/Alpha, it was released earlier this year, and there are only 25,000 cards in existence (5,000 packs). As a collector of both Mudwater and Pre/Alpha, I thought the Mudwater community would appreciate seeing how the rarities stack up. Here are the numbers. 👇 A few comparisons worth paying attention to: • A Pre/Alpha Legendary (1,000 cards total) is rarer than a Mudwater Legendary Foil (1,200 cards total). • A Pre/Alpha Basic (14,875 total cards) is rarer than a Mudwater Rare Foil (19,200 total cards). • The entire Pre/Alpha collection has just 25,000 cards, compared to 2.4 MILLION Mudwater cards. Now let's look at the market.... Mudwater Legendary Foils are trading around $1,500–$5,000, while Pre/Alpha Legendary cards, despite being even scarcer, are selling for roughly $300–$500. I collect both, and I think Pre/Alpha is one of the most overlooked collections in Web3 right now. I mean, it's Beeple for fcks sake. 😂 Something worth keeping on your radar. 👀 Collectors collect
