🥊 SOLD FOR $60,000! 💥 A first-release, factory-sealed Rocky I–IV VHS collection just sold through the collectible brokerage Nostalgix! According to Nostalgix, this is the only known complete set of these first-release sealed tapes, with each copy also being the highest-graded known example. 🔥 Four iconic films that took Rocky Balboa from a Philadelphia underdog to a worldwide legend and a piece of that legacy preserved on VHS. Congrats to Nostalgix and the new owner on an incredible collection! 📼🏆

An original FIRST PRINTING of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (Mirage Studios, 1984), graded CGC 9.8 with white pages and signed by BOTH creators, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Even better? This copy was obtained directly from Peter Laird, with its history documented in his letter, before becoming part of the Lawrence Klein Collection. This is where it all began: the origin and first appearances of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Splinter and Shredder. Eastman and Laird handled the story and art, with Eastman creating the iconic wraparound cover. The original print run was just 3,000 copies and sold out within weeks. What started as a black-and-white independent comic became a franchise that helped define generations. According to @HakesAuctions description, no first-print copies were graded higher at the time, and this was the single highest-graded example with JSA-authenticated signatures from BOTH creators, located on the interior front cover. First printing. CGC 9.8. Both creators’ signatures. Direct Peter Laird provenance. The series debuted on @DisneyPlus the next day, only to be pulled months later. No official DVD or Blu-ray release. No digital purchase or rental. Almost like the show never existed. It feels like the Mandela Effect: “Remember that Willow series on @DisneyPlus?” Except here’s physical proof it happened. A streaming service can erase a show from its catalog.
