All my smoking life I was told to quit. I did. Apparently "they" don't like *how* I quit.
We have the right to access harm reduction.

Almost 20 years!
It will never cease to amaze me that this tiny little battery powered vaporizer has kept me off of cigarettes for almost 20 years.
All @FDATobacco has to do is authorize some products that adults want to use, and smoking rates will plummet on their own.

My father died of COPD after smoking two packs a day for most of his life.
When the @WHO finally accepts the fact that #SaferNicotine vapes don't cause COPD, how will it explain the fact that it convinced 42 countries (34% of the world's population) to ban those?

"Nicotine vaping is one of the most effective ways we have to stop smoking. And it comes at a fraction of the risk of smoking tobacco. That’s a really important public health message.”

Retweeting because @ACSCAN doesn't want you to see it.
You should listen to Prof. Kenneth Warner instead of obsessing about whether or not companies you hate are authorized to market far less harmful alternatives to cigarettes (which cause cancer just in case you forgot).

Reposting this reply simply because @ACSCAN is afraid someone might see it and that's why they have hidden it.

Every year, 45,464 Canadians lose their lives to diseases caused by smoking. That’s 2 out of 3 smokers—gone too soon from cancer, heart disease, and respiratory illness.
Smoking doesn’t just take lives; it steals precious moments—playing with grandkids, enjoying retirement, and making memories with loved ones.
Everyone deserves to know their options. Learn the facts. Choose harm reduction.

Enough nicotine to satisfy cravings can help a product replace lethal cigarettes and save lives. More nicotine does not automatically mean more harm.
My new article examines why confusing nicotine delivery with smoking-related harm matters so much.

I have reported this to "X" as a probable bot involved in child abuse. It posts the same thing every day.
REALITY: Health Canada reports that teen nicotine vaping dropped 60% over the past five years. 2.2% now vape "daily or near-daily."
Claiming "high rates of youth vaping" is a reprehensible lie.
Let’s Build a Smoke-Free Generation.
Canada continues to face high rates of youth vaping and nicotine use. We’re building a movement to protect future generations from nicotine addiction before it starts. Join us and add your name today.

FYI: There is a private group on "X" for "Nicotine & Neurodiversity Advocates." If you are "on the spectrum" and want to join, I can ask the group and help you get in.
My hope is "Nicotine & ND Advocates" will someday out to @CHADD_ADHD and other patients' advocacy groups.

Congratulations on quitting smoking Max. Truly!
I have talked with the President of @CHADD_ADHD, the patients' advocacy group for people with #ADHD.
CHADD drank the Kool-Aid handed out by Tobacco Control. They are not aware of how many good people like you exist. :-)
When Dr. Mark Tyndal @DrMtyndall speaks, I listen. I wish more people in Public Health would as well.

Meet Kurt.
From SABC interviews to global advocacy, Kurt has spent years challenging the conversation around tobacco harm reduction and amplifying lived experiences.
The question remains: Are we doing enough to recognise the importance of harm reduction?
