Mullen said that on a couple different interviews I saw. It should have been us and Reno on Friday but that wasn't an option. Then it became us on Saturday night when it should have been maybe a noon kickoff so people could still go home and trick or treat.

Those of us at the UNLV football game and Saturday all were saying the same thing. The games should have either been played on Friday or in the afternoon on Saturday. The MWC forced that on UNLV who actually wanted a different date.

Totally agree. I think the athletics department has to really capitalize on the rise of Vegas sports. Unfortunately for scheduling, UNLV has become too decent at football for big schools to agree on a game because we may sneak out with a W and $1,000,000 lmao

With AFA beating UConn, and Oregon St being exposed as not that good, the PAC looks like a one team conference. The MWC is overall looking better than PAC, even with a couple of new bottom dwellers.😁 If both Boise and and UNM win out, UNM should get the 5th spot nod!

A lot of ppl need to chill . Yes last night was a rough game , but this team is streaky to say the least . We have some good outings and some bad outings , but we are still 3-1 in conference play . Rebels control their own destiny . Time to prepare for Wyoming and New Mexico .

I don't get it either. Some fans can't see that Mullen tried to elevate the program by scheduling harder, not wasting a game on an FCS school. They can't understand how injuries have hurt defense or how much Mullen has elevated the recruits and transfer portal players we get

I remember a lot of fans booing the Odom hire before he started here. I remember everyone celebrating the Hauck hire here also. Guess Unlv fans have bad memories. They obviously forgot the Sam Boyd days or after 3 good seasons got delusional.

A lot of UNLV fans forgot that Odom scheduled cupcakes to boost the the record. Mullen got stuck with them last year but he did away with them this year. Didn't play a single FCS team. I can't explain the UNT loss but I think some teams step up to play us like AF & NIU did

UNLV is 5-3 this year. Team isn’t nearly as good as what we thought they would be before the season started. At this point just win games and move on, ugly or not. I’m old enough to remember when the fanbase would die to ever be 5-3 eight games into a season.
