Thanks to everyone who's shared, posted about, or enquired about Field Guides!
I'm getting close to opening the first phase of participation, where recipients can identify and verify their physical Field Guides, gradually revealing the collection as they do.
In the meantime, I've updated fieldguides.art with photographs of the completed works and more about the process.
More soon!

marfa was such a success for a piano that paints, we’re hosting a sequel on monday in NYC Tribeca 🔮
it’ll be at Ben Griffin’s studio ~ Ben was instrumental to the electronics in the rig. 5-9p, open studio vibes, rsvp here:

saturday in marfa i’m debuting the worldʼs first piano that paints:
you put on a stethoscope, your heartbeat fills the room, i answer with polyrhythms on piano, and a brush paints our duet in ink for you to take home.
saint george hall, 11–3, one at a time, free (rsvp for @artblocks_io weekend: luma.com/abmw2026)

thank you ben griffin + josephine pia wild, couldn’t have done it without you 💌

one of my favourite moments too:
@pandelic had just finished an ephemeral piano piece based on the token hash of the @dotjiwa piece i had just minted & watched on the screen 💚
Looking forward to this performance of “a piano that paints” in NYC on Monday! Check the quoted for a preview

I go back & forth on whether or not to share writing on the real meaning of Lagrange Bend.
There is nuance to uncover, subtext all in plain sight for those curious.
Warhol never described what the soup can meant, just that his mother made it for him.
Leaving room for the viewer to step into the work can be what makes the work most interesting.
Often times here, few are willing or able to take the extra step to uncover. Though some do 🙏
The meaning of Lagrange Bend is hidden under a layer of abstraction, the rooms and ghosts, etc.
I wonder who has wondered, projected their own meaning, maybe even gotten close.
It’s a story most of us here are living, or will be soon, whether we know it or not.
Originally got into Lagrange Bend by @jiwa purely for the art—the generative architecture, colors and movement are stunning.
One of my absolute highlights at @artblocks_io Marfa was watching my room generate live piano music, performed beautifully by @pandelic as part of jiwa’s exhibit.
That’s when I fell all the way down the rabbit hole... 🧵👇
The wild part: the house is only partially minted (227 / 400 rooms), and only 3 of the 5 secrets have been found—with Secret 4 & Secret 5 still waiting ahead.
From what I can tell, I think anyone joining the game and minting a room today has no handicap competing for the remaining secrets.
Incredible generative art, live music, and deep on-chain mystery. Bravo @jiwa & @pandelic 🏛️🎹🔑

One more detail that blew my mind:Each room isn’t just an artwork—it actually has its own Ethereum wallet via ERC-6551, so your room can hold on-chain assets. On top of that, @dotjiwa registered every room as an autonomous agent (ERC-8004) and airdropped an "Agent Card" directly into each room’s wallet.Generative architecture + murder mystery + autonomous AI agents holding their own inventory. The rabbit hole just keeps getting deeper. 🤯teapaw.org/dotjiwa/status/2110402…
A room holds things.
Each room has a registered wallet, so it can hold Ethereum things. (ERC-6551)
Now each (minted) work is also registered as an Ethereum Trustless Agent via ERC-8004, & has been airdropped the agent card to it's wallet.
May come in handy...

Secure your Room
had a BLAST co-creating a unique experience with @dotjiwa for his Lagrange Bend collectors 🏮
for me it was inspiring, full of mystery, otherwordly at times, and a whole lot of fun to improvise from all sorts of directions, 3 surprising traits at a time.
thank you @sbmckeon + @opensea + @museumartlight!
congrats DMac and thanks for spending time with the work 🤝
