Driving from the east to a west end golf course. Henday NW to the Yellowhead, then spent 10 minutes + 90merging to the yellowhead. We have the yellowhead traffic, plus the the Henday South & North merging & it's a 10 minute backlog. Bad design. @CityofEdmonton bad design.
I'm getting old when friends want to come over on a Friday, after supper. I'm so glad they did, such great conversations, connections, friendship, and cocktails. Pick your tribe carefully.

Despite the rhetoric, the system is not inefficient. It’s incredibly under resourced. Multiple investments must occur to stabilize it. A new hospital is essential along with increasing subacute and long term care.
South Edmonton Hospital building has been cut from 2024 budget by @ABDanielleSmith
Today- Edmonton has 3,448 beds & short 514 beds
2027- short 1,539 beds
2037- short 2,926 beds
A hospital takes 5 years to build.
WE CANNOT DELAY A NEW HOSPITAL
