Don't care what the haters say, the high point of the opioid epidemic was when Insys pharmaceuticals released a corporate rap song with a rapping sublingual fentanyl spray product. youtube.com/watch?v=mtwFZwjC…

Mr. President We must close the novelty sports cannon gap.
Come on. The French have literally weaponized mini salami snack packs. The machine gun even comes with a crew of beret-wearing Frenchmen.

In ideal world a New Yorker who ends up moving to Texas might want to rethink the policies and decisions that lead to that outcome, but religious faith is a real thing, and politics is the currently popular god in academia.

Thank you Tennessee. Just when I am starting to believe. Just when the decades of pain are starting to fade, and a tiny drop of hope emerges. We get drop kicked by the unranked.

Only two possible conclusions. One I have become a world class sprinter capable of doing 9 straight 5 minute miles with only 6,000 steps. Two, possibly my phone woke up this morning and had a stroke.

Well found Saturn hanging out with the moon. Think it's pretty safe to say my phone camera was not up to the task.

One of my historical hot takes is that I don't think it was the bond market that allowed England to hold out vs Napoleon. I think it was the English channel that made it impossible for Napoleon to march in to London and dictate the terms.

The other continental powers could have had America's current financial markets, and it wouldn't have mattered because Napoleon was just going to crush their armies, walk into the capital, and then dictate the results he wanted.

Every time I start to think that yes mankind really does know a lot I stumble into something along the lines of "What do you mean were still not entirely sure where the plate boundary is in Madagascar. Like its a plate boundary, its not a small thing

So I haven't really played any video games in like 20 years. So if one of the companies that games are now only online closes does that just result in them permanently vanishing?

One problem with not having a conscious is you don't know how normal people react. Like if your political opponent was SA as a child, you don't want to bring that up because it puts the sympathy for her up to the maximum level imaginable.

I have sometimes wondered if the most successful totally immoral people realize at some point that keeping 10 normal people around to run ideas by is probably the best strategy for avoiding walking into this particular bear trap.

Pretty sure this is actually France's most famous painting.
This is France’s most famous painting. It shows a violent revolution with barricades, armed civilians, and dead bodies. Acting shocked that France has street unrest is peak historical illiteracy.

Got to add a new counseling point when dispensing Skyrizi. Strangely Stelara & Tremfya are apparently not a concern.
SNL took a commercial for a real psoriasis medication and turned it into a story about a mysterious force that may have existed before humanity. Ryan Gosling, Sarah Sherman and Ashley Padilla helped turn “Otezla” into one of those sketches that gets more ridiculous the longer you watch. Here’s how it works.

If CFP gets to 24 teams Missouri is never missing the tournament. Its also never getting past the first round, but such is the curse of Missouri.

Onions, strongly implying that future markets may be massively over capitalized and consuming way to much capital that could be more effectively used elsewhere since 1958.

I understand the need for futures markets, but perhaps just perhaps the reality of Onions being widely available and easy to get implies that maybe the futures markets are much more of a casino, and much larger of a casino then they need to be.

Wow your telling me without a futures market we have never had a shortage of Onions. Some people might draw a different conclusion about the effectiveness and function of future markets. Perhaps the current scale and scope of futures markets no longer serve their original purpose
University of Chicago Students to Protest at Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Demand End to Federal Ban on Onion Futures Student-led group For Our Futures will rally Monday morning to call for repeal of the 1958 Onion Futures Act On Monday, October 19, at 8:30 a.m., members of For Our Futures, a student-led organization from @UChicago, will gather outside the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (@CMEGroup) headquarters to demand the repeal of the Onion Futures Act of 1958, a nearly 70-year-old federal law prohibiting futures trading in onions. The Onion Futures Act, enacted following allegations of market manipulation in the 1950s, singled out onions for a prohibition on futures contracts that remains in effect today. For Our Futures is calling on Congress to repeal the ban and restore the ability of onion growers, buyers, and traders to participate in a regulated futures market. Onions remain the only commodity banned from futures trading in the United States. The protest will feature a giant inflatable onion costume, protest signs, and dozens of students, and will take place outside the headquarters of CME Group, one of the world's largest derivatives marketplaces and the historic center of American onion futures trading.
