Wonder who will be more successful convincing Brain™️ - Ron or those who debated Survivor strategy with him.
The Mestemaker bandwagon going to be a bit more crowded after today. We'll see where he progresses to by the '27 or '28 draft, but the highs are very high but there's a lot of work to do there still.
The answer seems to be that it did seem to influence the trading of 2027 picks as I theorized it might + no surprise it's CLE picking up two of the few 2027s (4th round or better) that were traded (believe the count is at 3 for 4th round or better, 8 last year I believe).

With the relative strength of the 2027 class & weakness of the 2026 class, 1) does this change the discount rate significantly of 2027 picks 2) does it & should it affect how you structure trades this draft?
4/1 - Pro Day runs 4.37.
4/8 - TM & AB. 2:10 - "The way he moved in his positional drills" was an epiphany. Floor likely 11/12.
4/14 - Schrager on McAfee & others - #actually he didn't look good in drills.
4/19 - AB says "worse than Will Johnson".
4/24 - Still undrafted.
Which begs the question - the bone plug was an old surgery, it couldn't have possibly been "new" information. But here's to you Mister Robinson for the clarity I appreciate more than you will know.

Absolute trainwreck of a year and I am a huge Todd defender/backer - has done extremely well in prior years, but this year was an unmitigated disaster starting around April 8th. Hopefully, just a result of the massive platform buildout & we're back up next year.
The 2026 NFL Draft #2 Selection market will go down as one of the more interesting draft markets ever. Really incredible stuff the entire time with an absolute flurry finish. Should be fun to deconstruct the order flow later.
Even sooner. Final answer - ~18 months.
Was always going to end this way.
Made argument privately yesterday PFF might be sold off in 2-3 yrs. Vision learning & more sophisticated actors coming for the data throne. Talent loss immense. Media pivot tenuous. Alleged ~16 mill yr rev, good contracts, but drums, drums in the deep.

Now that Twitter is doxxing people's locations, Twitter should add a permanent 9⃣ to Thor's profile. Think we hit capitulation today.
This issue persists and I don't see it ever getting better. Time to start scheming different personnel for these situations.

Something I missed that I'm glad I didn't see in your preview re: CAR/Young, it's only two games, but his size is really showing up as an issue on 4th and short. 1st game tried from the gun, this game they sent in Dalton, it's a real problem right now. Big issue.
Turns out it was Door B. With his snap count you're talking ~10 more wins than the manual charting which is one of the bigger discrepancies I can remember. Encourage people to just go through his snaps and chart for yourself, curious what you get (I was closer to PFF but +2 wins)
Appreciate Walder running the draft contest that I thought about for all of 3 minutes filling out the form.
Scoring system greatly favored just picking exact spots as the winner did. Think I might build something for next year where the scoring is tweaked quite a bit, seems fun
Did more posting in Discord than an official mock writeup this year. Countless hours to basically make no money b/c Graham 5 a bit disappointing, but Barron CB1 (sans Hunter), Banks, Zabel, Warren v Membou opinions enough to salvage the night. See everyone tomorrow/next year.
If a mega sharp comes calling for liquidity right before the draft, don't answer the phone the call is coming from inside the house.
Tried to steal my digital gold, sneaky hobbitses.
This tweet is trending towards aging very poorly, but since I am not a coward we own it.
DJ yesterday - "sans Ward, no team prob takes QB w/their 1st pick (doesn't preclude trading back up) & Todd today Saints no QB @ 9. Trade up spots 15 & 24, but running out of runway.
