Love getting blocked by people who can’t argue their point.
The tax = theft morons really are something special.
Has anyone heard of this fragile snowflake before?
He’s never appeared on my radar before but he’s not doing himself any favours atm.
He’s having a panic attack because I called him “chum”.
Tell me you don’t understand humanity without telling me you don’t understand humanity.
This is the worst Star Trek I’ve ever seen 🤦♂️
NOTE: I'm a fan of Star Trek, not a "hater." But I'm a tempered fan.
The show is a philosophical mess. Oh yes, its values are progressive, which is why it's incoherent--that's what progressive values are.
1. It pretends there's no such thing as money or currency. Never explains it. Pretends human nature changed and people just "do the right thing" with no commensurate reward.
2. Runs a military organization with a hierarchy, but pretends that it hates battleships and war. Pretends these things can be managed away if everyone would just Federation harder.
3. They wouldn't give up the Federation hierarchy any more than Marxists will give up their penthouse so that the poor they claim to care about are equal.
4. Puts 1,000 people and families on a warship, puts that ship in danger, then the crew insist on prioritizing the safety of nanites that are destroying the ship over the preservation of their own people and families.
5. Consistently places the sensible, cautious, and sometimes militaristic points of view concerned with survival in the mouths of what we would call "Maga-coded" caricatures today.
Even when the "Maga" character is right, and the Captain has to do what he suggests to save the ship, the smug crew and writers still mock him and act superior.
It's a great show. It's also a ridiculous, infantile, leftist liberal cream-jeans fantasy.
Gene Roddenberry and the main production crew for decades are liberal man children.

It sounds exciting.
I’m not a typical gamer.
I’m not a fan of your usual pewpews.
I like games with a well crafted world that you can throw yourself into and explore.
This sounds like my kind of game and I can’t wait.
The total playable land in GTA 6 is nearly as large as the maps of GTA IV, GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined 🎮

Here’s a rather hasty musical tribute to Walter Koenig and Patrick Stewart, with James Horner’s and Dennis McCarthy’s music - ft this mornings impromptu tribute on @trekonlinegame Xbox server.

Within minutes we were there, in the Xbox @trekonlinegame server, paying our tribute.
In my language we say “Kua hinga te tōtara i Te Waonui a Tāne” translates to a great totara tree has fallen in the forest - meaning we have suffered a monumental loss.
Yeah we’re a bunch of nerds. But we know how to honour our fallen.
This is the Xbox server.

It’s official. STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT III is coming soon.
DICE and Respawn will develop the game together for EA.
I never expected this.
But man this is exciting.
BF1 was a lot of fun. But BF2 got me through lockdown of 2020.
BF3 has the potential to either drop the ball or live up to its name.
IIRC BF3 was never finished under the OG iteration of the franchise.
Hopefully this one will.
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is in active development from EA DICE and Respawn.
News of the shooter franchise's latest entry comes amid today's announcement of company-wide layoffs at EA and the closure of legendary studio Bioware.

I made my Klingon male character in STO a medic in a skirt/skant because I know it’ll trigger panic attacks among the fragile bigots in the fandom 🤭
Mind you, just having a Discovery/Academy themed character will give some precious prick a hernia 😂
I haven’t posted much DW related music lately - I’ve been focused on other things.
Such as this - if you’re anything like me, you recognise a composers style before identifying the project it’s from.
This is by my favourite composer.
Do you recognise the composer or theme?
