Utah families are already feeling the pressure of rising costs. The last thing we need is for an easy path to imposing permanent tax increases on hardworking Utahns.
That’s why I support Amendment B! 🇺🇸
Amendment B simply requires a 60% vote for citizen ballot initiatives that raise taxes. It doesn’t eliminate the initiative process—it ensures that tax increases have broad support from the people who will ultimately pay for them.
Your paycheck belongs to you, not the government. Utah should continue to protect taxpayers, promote fiscal responsibility, and keep our state affordable for families.
Let’s protect Utah taxpayers and keep Utah strong!
VOTE YES ON AMENDMENT B!

BTW my friends if you want to know what a DEMOCRACY looks like, move to “one vote majority” California. Our founders wisely framed America as a Republic. Utah was accepted into the Union contingent on being a Republic. Vote Yes on B: End the Leftist attack on our Utah Republic 🇺🇸
To my Conservative Utah friends who are still undecided on Proposition B:
The Initiative Amendment that ultimately was adopted into our constitution was authored and shepherded by Sherman Smith. He was a progressive who believed in a direct democracy. A direct democracy was antithetical to the founders vision and was opposed by them.
Authored by a progressive then, supported by progressives now.
Time to undo this progressive movement. I want it to be extremely difficult to raise my taxes.

If you’re under 30, the most important thing you need to understand about Stevens’ endorsement is that, just 10 years ago, a candidate who (a) signed a letter urging the Muslim Brotherhood to eliminate pro democracy dissidents in Egypt, or (b) refused to disavow a surrogate who claimed America deserved 9/11 or an ad that claimed you can’t afford groceries because bloodthirsty Israelis love to kill children, or (c) said “hurt people hurt people” about a terrorist who tried to murder dozens of children, would not have polled above 2% in a Democratic primary, and that today a Democrat who says that supporting a candidate like the above is a bridge too far in the name of party loyalty is being called a traitor by the Democrat Senate Minority Leader.
Haley Stevens is a patriot who put country over party.

Remember: she didn't have to do anything. That's why our nation is in decline. Far too many Americans chose nothing. She did something and we're better for it. More of this. More courage.

Very few citizen initiatives have a new tax. Interestingly, the recent initiatives with tax increases get a lot of out-of-state support. 🤔

If you want to know why America is polarized, it’s the fault of the media.
Yesterday, the Free Beacon, a conservative outlet, caught Abdul Sayed in a lie when Abdul denied his family had a connection to the Muslim Brotherhood. The FB showed a tweet by his own sister saying their mother belonged to the MB.
The revelation that Abdul lied about his family ties to a radical Islamic terrorist group was ignored by NBC, ABC, CBS’s nightly news shows. The NYT and WP haven’t covered it.
This should be a screaming front page story. Instead, the MSM runs cover for Abdul.
The American people just want to know the truth about their politicians. Instead, the media are helping Abdul cover up the truth.
Abdul has a lot to hide. It’s a tragedy the MSM is part of the team helping him hide it.

🇺🇸I absolutely love this. This is a must watch for all Americans. Keep this moving out of respect of those that can’t. God bless our troops.🇺🇸
It’s past time for our political narratives to change. The current narrative is not only tiresome but counterproductive as both sides foolishly ignore the single greatest threat to our freedom - our debt. stocks.apple.com/A29EFMvP6SD…

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…”
As we celebrate Constitution Day, we’re reminded that a more perfect Union is something each generation has the opportunity to build -- through understanding, service, faith, and coming together.

Happy Constitution Day.
There are no words. Wow! This is precisely why he has no idea how important the changes to clarity are! Unbelievable!
The Clarity Act vote is this week. The fight over stablecoin yield is being whitewashed as a turf battle between banks and crypto. That’s a strategy, not the truth. This decision will impact every business, every individual. You should understand it. youtu.be/nApcjOzA5fM

How bad was life before modern science, technology, and economic growth? Awful.
The example I will use in class this Wednesday is Henry Clay (1777-1852). He was one of the most powerful men of his time in the U.S., not just among the elite but among the elite of the elite: Speaker of the House, Secretary of State, Senator, and three-time presidential candidate. He was also rich and a large slaveholder. The U.S. was among the richest countries in the world (perhaps only behind Great Britain) and among the most technologically advanced. And we are not talking about the early Middle Ages, but about the first half of the 19th century.
Given the constraints of his time, he had nearly everything within reach.
Clay and his wife, Lucretia (both in the photograph), had eleven children: six daughters and five sons. He buried all six daughters. By 1835, all were dead: two as infants, two as children, two as young mothers. He also buried a son in a war his father had opposed. Another son, Theodore, fractured his skull as a child, but since nobody could treat him, he spent decades in an asylum in Lexington.
Think about this for a second: seven children dead and one handicapped out of eleven, in the first half of the 19th century, among the elite of the elite, in one of the richest and most advanced places on the planet.
And I was angry yesterday because my cell phone coverage in Toddington (England) was poor.

Grok summed the heck out of The Book of Mormon.
Dialed in!
Replying to @nicoraytruth
The Book of Mormon testifies that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God who appears to all nations. It shows God's dealings with ancient Americans, rewarding covenant keepers and punishing the wicked. It teaches faith in Christ, repentance, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end as the path to salvation. Christ visited the Americas after His resurrection, teaching His gospel and founding His church there. Its purpose is to bring all people to Christ so they may be found spotless at the judgment.
