Vamps & Bundling are one of the biggest problems with token launches. Hooker tackles it directly on chain. Custom token hooks can control how buys are allowed to happen, so launch mechanics aren't left entirely to the frontend or whoever gets their transaction in first. Hooker is an example of what @Pumpfun could implement to make launches fairer.

Hooker tokens use Solana Token-2022 transfer hooks, so every rule is enforced directly on the token. Tokens launch on a @MeteoraAG bonding curve identical to @Pumpfun's with the creator choosing the graduation market cap. Once reached the hooks are removed, a new Pumpfun token is created and every buyer automatically receives their tokens.

Hooker now has anti-vamp protection. Creators can choose a ticker cooldown of 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days when launching a token. Once selected, that ticker cannot be reused for the chosen period, helping protect launches from copycats immediately recycling the same identity. Just another example of what Pumpfun could easily implement to improve its platform and address issues the community has been raising for a long time.
