⛏️ CREATING MINERAL WEALTH, BUILDING A SHARED FUTURE TOGETHER
At the 15th Uganda Mineral Wealth Conference & Expo, @Wagagai_Mining highlighted its seven-year journey in Uganda and its vision for a mining industry that goes beyond resource extraction to create lasting value.
From investing approximately US$200 million, creating about 2,000 jobs, training more than 800 Ugandan skilled workers, and contributing approximately US$50 million in taxes, Wagagai Mining shared its commitment to transforming Uganda’s mineral resources into jobs, skills, technology, industrial capacity and shared prosperity.
Looking ahead, the company outlined plans to invest a further US$100 million by 2028 to expand underground mining, beneficiation and mineral development in the Busia area, alongside investments in cleaner, smarter and safer mining technologies.
