Thank you friends, colleagues, brothers and sisters for such a memorable event. Your presence, giving, sa orifice and service made it happen. It will go down in the history of my village.

This Saturday morning, 10th Oct, I had the pleasure of meeting a team led by HE Hajji Kagimu, Uganda's Ambassodor to Malaysia together with American Scientists and investors to discuss investiment in Energy transformation in Uganda. We had fruitful discussions which we agreed to progress in speciric ways. It was interesting to observe how investors respond to a well thought through sector strategy as embedded in the three MEMD questions. One of them has agreed work for me for freeas an advisor!! And that🤝 was to signify the Gentlelady-Gentleman agreement! Looking forward to progressing our discussion into tangible.

We have been entrusted with the priviledge of citizenship to this beautiful land. I am priviledged to serve as the Minister at @MEMD_Uganda . Pledging to do my best to align our services to the aspirations of the nation and her people. I wish I could say it is going to be easy, No, it wont, but it will be done. I also wish I could say it will be instant, but no, it will take time. And I wish I could say I will do it alone (then I could just get up and do), but no, it will take a team. The One MEMD team. The nation at large, each playing it's role.

This morning I met with investors from Nigeria under the Resident Group Inc, led by Dr. Abbas A Waziri, the group chairman. They are interested in investing in the Minerals sector especially fertilizer and cement manufacturing.

Thank you Your Excellency for the invitation to visit Japan later in the year. #OneMEMD @MEMD_Uganda

On Duty! Same hands on approach! Together with @PhionaNyamutoro and technical staff from MEMD, Ministry of lands, and the local governments, we spent the day addressing issues at Bwerasandu Mines in Ntungamo. Great success. Tin is one of our most advanced Mineral Pathfinder value chains, headed for downstream industrial development. H5 Resources is establishing one of Africa's most modern, AI powered mining enterprise. It well illustrates the shift from resource management to industrial transformation. What impressed me most was the focus on Knowledge-enhanced decision making. The CEO handed me data we didn't know about our own mine!

Work at MEMD has started in Ernest! I am so glad I started at @STIsecretariat . The five years produced wisdom, depth of knowledge, character and a deep sense of valuing each individual. All the insights, skills, knowledge and leadership and other people skills are invaluable here. Dealing with mature enterprises is now easy, having nurtured ideas to market. My predecessors did a great job building foundations, my focus is to transform capacity into industries, growth to transformation. Today I successfully mediated a business negotiation between two of our investors in the Tin value chain development. It was gratifying for each to walk away feeling a winner. As for me, this ...Applied S
