Assam's first ✅

India's first ✅
I am extremely proud to share that Assam has signed the MoU to set up India's first Proton Beam Therapy centre in the public health sector at a cost of ₹600 cr.
Until now, proton beam therapy, one of the world's most advanced cancer treatments, has been available only in private hospitals in India, at costs of up to ₹50 lakh.
Assam seeks to change that today.
This advanced technology attacks tumours with pinpoint precision while sparing healthy tissues. For suitable patients, particularly children, that can make a significant difference.
With 17 cancer hospitals rising across the state, 12 of them being functional, a community level constant outreach programme and consistent investments in human capital and infrastructure, our ambition is clear: Assam will be a global centre for cancer care.

Objection Milord!
WHO WILL JUDGE THE JUDGE?
Kerala High Court is not expected to take immediate action against an Additional District and Sessions Judge who was named as an accused in a case involving a fatal car accident involving his 17-year-old son! The Mercedes car involved in the crash belonged to the judge. The MVA is clear that parents are liable for acts of underage dependents.
The High Court’s administrative committee had earlier met to discuss the matter, but no immediate action against the judge is expected.

1 in 4 employees is director and above ? 🙂
$MSFT: I've been asked what Level 70 and below means in Microsoft's voluntary exit announcement.
From my understanding, Microsoft uses an internal leveling system to classify employees by seniority, responsibility, and compensation.
Roughly speaking:
Levels 59–62: Engineers, analysts, and professional roles
Levels 63–64: Senior engineers and managers
Levels 65–67: Principal engineers and senior management
Levels 68–70: Partner-level technical leaders, directors, and senior directors
Titles can vary by organization, but you get the picture.
So it is easy to see here that this is not simply about trimming junior employees or eliminating jobs AI can perform..... we're potentially talking about some very experienced, highly compensated technical and management talent.
And with Microsoft's AI infrastructure spending showing no signs of slowing, I find that particularly interesting. What I want to see is which functions lose people, which positions Microsoft chooses not to replace, and where hiring continues.
Wow this is good ...
We are proud to partner with the Ministry of Defence on a joint framework to advance AI adoption across the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.

There is human in the other side anyway even with LLM right ?
Remember the Lindy rule. Humans only talk to things that are alive
1) Other humans
2) Themselves
3) animals
4) Things embodied with spiritual significance (gravestones, holy places, prayer)
We could all just sit and talk to our computers now. We have the technology. But we don't. It feels weird. We sit and type in silence.
Many people have tried so far to create a talking device. all have failed
