In my Zeteo column I dismantle the BBC fabrications about Eisenkot and his opposition bloc.
Replying to @zeteouk
The BBC is now framing tomorrow's Israeli election as a battle between the extreme right Netanyahu vs Eisenkot the ‘centrist or leftist’ @OborneTweets cuts through the nonsense.

Pentagon says it has spent $47.1 billion on Trump-Netanyahu's war on Iran in the last 8 months. 18(22) dead, 865 injured.
What the Iran War has achieved: 1 gallon of diesel in the US is now $6.35, compared with $3.75 last year. Netanyahu has lost the election, Trump is going to!

I know a very great deal but I don't talk to pop-up self-appointed 'committees'.
The CAF-commissioned independent investigation into Cambridge University’s appointment of Jason Arday is now up and running, and needs the assistance of those who know Cambridge best.
We strongly encourage current and former academics, students and other members of the University community, as well as others with relevant knowledge, to come forward with information.
This might include policy documents, internal correspondence or first-hand accounts concerning Arday’s academic record, his appointment and subsequent time at Cambridge, the University’s response to concerns about his scholarship and its treatment of those who raised them, and the development and application of institutional policies relating to recruitment, promotion, academic misconduct, research integrity and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Anyone wishing to contribute can contact the Investigator directly at:
[email protected]
The website provides further guidance on submitting information, including arrangements for particularly sensitive material:
ardayinvestigation.net/
This is a rare opportunity to bring matters long discussed behind closed doors, amongst trusted colleagues, into the light. Those who have witnessed decisions or practices that they believe warrant scrutiny, but have hitherto felt unable to raise their concerns through official channels, can now contribute to an investigation independent of the University.
Please help us spread the word and ensure this appeal reaches as many Cambridge academics and others with relevant knowledge as possible.

I am genuinely devastated to hear of Patrick Stewart's death. No actor had a more profound impact on me growing up than his portrayal of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. I think of his character all the time when faced with questions of leadership or ethics. Rest in power.

The Times has published 0 stories about an Oxford lecturer who was recently charged with child porn offences. Coincidentally she is also a right wing journalist and Michael Gove's girlfriend.

Recognition from fellow journalists is much appreciated as this is undoubtedly a difficult and polarising story, with a tragic outcome. Many people still do not accept its legitimacy but it was an important public interest story which sparked public debate about key issues of our age timeshighereducation.com/opi…

BREAKING: SIR PATRICK STEWART HAS DIED AGED 86.
The world has lost one of Britain's finest actors.
Sir Patrick Stewart, the Yorkshire-born actor who became a global icon as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men, has died at his home in Los Angeles.
From his early days with the Royal Shakespeare Company to the bridge of the USS Enterprise, Stewart brought something rare to the screen: intelligence, dignity, warmth and a commanding presence that never needed to shout.
For generations of Star Trek fans, Jean-Luc Picard represented the best of humanity. A man who believed in reason over violence, diplomacy over war, and the courage to do what was right rather than what was easy.
There was something rather fitting about a working-class lad from Yorkshire becoming the captain who inspired millions to imagine a better future.
A remarkable actor, an unmistakable voice and a genuinely beloved figure of British theatre and cinema.
One final voyage, Captain. Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart.
