France’s blood storage is solely operated by the French Blood Establishment. There is no alternative.
Overnight between 1 and 2 November, hackers altered the climate control of storage units, raising temperatures from -30°C to 110°C.
This is no longer about food in supermarkets going to waste. This is the national storage for blood and could have cost many lives.
Thankfully, a very switched on technician noticed the problem almost immediately and intervened.
An investigation has been launched but there is a lesson here. Someone or a group of people want Westerners dead.

Scary footage this morning.
Two helicopters operated by Fishtail Air and Air Dynasty collided while attempting to land at Pheriche in Nepal’s Everest region
One foreign passenger was killed and another person injured. The crash occurred around 8:15 AM (local time)
The cause is under investigation.
