I am truly humbled by the total disinterest in anything I post on Twitter. So I suspect it's of no import that I won't be posting on an @elonmusk-owned Twitter. At least not until it adopts standards like those set by @MastodonSocial.

Those who care can find me on #MastodonSocial as @[email protected]. (Sorry, @dcproud, but I'm the real queer-ass OG Freedman's baby.) A digital town square should not be a plaything for billionaires. It should be owned and governed as a public good.
Again ⁦@laurenboebert⁩ brings discredit to the body of Christ. Ephesians 5:4 admonishes against “obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking.” Chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” just might make you miss Jesus’ return. apple.news/Aicp4WA4kSRaOOV1-…
The one thing wrong with the headline on this @washingtonpost column by @perrybaconjr is that it is labeled “opinion.”

Sports aside: In their last 10 games, the Washington @Nationals were outscored by opponents, 64-26. As Marva Whitney sang in 1969, "Things Got to Get Better."
Corporate housing builders can go to hell. They can sell housing at a discount to predatory investors who will charge usurious rental rates, but not build affordable units for desperate working families. Why we need #socialhousing. apple.news/AVe_25QCoSr-vN2m9…

This is what journalism that matters looks like.
My answer is some of everything because climate change crosses into pretty much every facet of life. This last week underscores that. Consider these stories by @AP colleagues. A thread...
My White husband is totally psyched to see @brosthemovie. But I am totally not psyched to see yet another gay movie that can't bring itself to cast a single Black queer man in a prominent role. And no, Kenan Thompson doesn't count. #BrosMovie
When you no longer have basic services because the people who provide them can’t afford to live near you, perhaps then you will understand why we chant, “Housing is a human right.” washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/…
Why did the @latimes, on a story about guns stolen from the home of @KarenBassLA, have to reach back almost 50 years to bring up her involvement with the Venceremos Brigade, which has nothing to do with the robbery? @mmfa
Anyone who denies we are in a climate emergency—Ms. "Drill Baby Drill" and people of her ilk—are a danger to the public and unfit for public office. Ending our dependence on fossil fuels must be a political litmus test. theconversation.com/whats-go…
