I don't think he's sincere at all and that's part of why he has no juice and is disliked by many factions. Dude is a bald faced liar and he's got 0 charisma to boot. Not even good at doing his own bit.
Vance went to Yale Law. He married an Indian immigrant. He has four biracial children. He was raised by a grandma who supported gay rights (in 1992). Both of his in-laws are college professors who live in California. He was a Lincoln Republican who likened Trump to Hitler.
Now he's what ever this is. And the depressing part? I think he's sincere. He melted his own brain.
The reason Trump would get a cheer for saying something similar is because he is actually ignorant! JD is not, he went to Yale and you can tell he is LARPing down to his audience's intelligence.

Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia.
The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

University of Michigan freshman Robert Kashan is one of many Jewish Michiganders who are alarmed that Dr. El-Sayed hasn't shown more support for the five nonnegotiables.
To Robert, these aren't crazy demands. They're a simple ask: affirmation of the same dignity, safety, and self-definition every other community receives, and the same legitimacy for Jewish statehood that every other nation receives.
