If you're voting today in America it's worth remembering that Trump sided with the people who did this.
To understand Russian culture, understand that Russians just dropped nine multi-ton guided bombs on 60 people that had come to a local school to line up for weekly humanitarian aid distribution.

Every US plan is a Russian plan with a little blood money tossed in for Trump & Co. Rewarding an invading terror state only encourages more terror and invasions. If Russia wants to sell gas, it can get the hell out of Ukraine. If Europe wants that gas, win the war first.
The U.S. proposal: a quick resumption of Russian natural-gas sales to Europe via Ukrainian pipelines, with an American company acting as an intermediary and money going to an escrow account. Our scoop. wsj.com/world/europe/u-s-pus…

A lack of spare parts for aircraft due to sanctions was a serious problem for Russia. Trump rushes to Putin’s rescue yet again, while Russia concedes nothing and continues to murder Ukrainian civilians.
The United States has lifted restrictions on the Boeing Corporation’s engagement with the Belarusian national airline, Belavia -Igor Cherginets, Director General of Belavia, as reported by the news agency BelTA. The U.S. Department of Commerce has granted Boeing authorization to work with the Belarusian airline. "This will allow Belavia to directly obtain spare parts, components, and software for the aircraft currently in its fleet. Furthermore, it paves the way for negotiations regarding the direct acquisition of aircraft from Boeing. It is worth noting that a similar authorization had previously been issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, which provided the technical framework for direct cooperation between Belavia and Boeing. A year ago, the U.S. government issued an authorization that removed all sanctions—specifically political sanctions—against Belavia," the airline’s Director General stated.

Russian strikes on Ukraine today are truly horrific. A train station in Dnipro, downtown Chernihiv. A father crying over the body of his child. Children screaming for a dad who is now gone. And no reaction from the US, which is the most involved in making a "peace deal." Nothing from Trump at all. It creates such a scary, dangerous reality, one where russian oil refineries are protected, but Ukrainian children simply walking the streets of their cities are treated as fair targets. One where the aggression is supported and rewarded and the resistance is judged. I’m horrified by the world I find myself in. This is not how you make peace deals, this is how you betray your allies and throw them to the wolves.

Zelensky: It's a pity that we are losing a strong partner. Morgan: You think you're losing America? Zelensky: Yeah, but not because of us. We can’t be weak. Otherwise, we can’t survive… This is why it’s painful when Trump chooses to be on Russia’s side. This is not the right side of history.

Overall, 25 people were killed in this massive Russian strike on Ukraine. One hundred people were injured. It was a combined attack, involving many ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as “shaheds.” This is the kind of “gift” Putin gave himself for his birthday. Ukrainian warriors shot down 44 missiles – both cruise and ballistic. Not all of those launched by Russia, and ballistic missiles are especially difficult to deal with. We suppressed 117 “shaheds” – most of those launched, but unfortunately, not all of them either. Additional packages of air defense missiles are needed, as are additional measures to support Ukraine. And there will be appropriate packages. The threat is there every day, and every day, our air defense batteries need to have missiles ready. We strongly count on prompt deliveries from our partners.

Today, as a birthday “gift” to Putin, the Russian army destroyed a residential building in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region. It was an ordinary five-story apartment building. Tragically, as of now, five people have been reported killed and 26 injured, including five children. There may still be people under the rubble. First responders are working nonstop at the site – doing everything possible to find every person. Russian missile strikes also damaged five apartment buildings in Dnipro and four high-rise buildings in Kremenchuk. Tragically, two people were killed and eight injured. A high-rise building in Zaporizhzhia was damaged by a drone. In Kyiv, the Russians killed two people. Two more people were killed in Oleksandriya… My condolences to all the families and loved ones of those killed. Overall, infrastructure in Kyiv and 12 regions came under attack last night. One of the key targets was our energy infrastructure. The Russians wanted to strike painfully and demonstratively. This was one of the most vile strikes: 70 missiles in total, many of them ballistic, as well as “shaheds.” Unfortunately, only some of them were shot down. Russian ballistic missiles remain the greatest challenge. And air defense packages for us right now are a vital necessity. That is why every day we are looking for missiles for Patriot systems that can and must actually protect people’s lives here, in Ukrainian skies. Thank you to everyone who is helping us.

Zelensky: "Sometimes it may seem that Ukraine is focused only on war because we speak about weapons, we speak about defence and sanctions against the aggressor. But Ukrainians did not choose this war. We choose not to die, not to lose our country, our families, not to lose our independence, our freedom." That was Zelensky, saying plainly what the map has been showing for four years. To the failed Trump regime, this is a foreign tongue. Surrender is what they know, and they are fluent in it. Give the aggressor what he asks for, then a little more, and call it a deal. The house and the car, the wife and the children, all handed over before a single shot is fired, because fighting is tiring and the other man seemed so reasonable on the phone. Ukraine chose the harder road because the alternative was not peace but disappearance. Washington once understood that distinction. Not this regime.

How about calling on Putin to stop killing Ukrainian civilians
Trump: "Zelenskyy has to do one thing -- he has to stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia. He's causing a shortage of diesel fuel. This isn't done by the Middle East, this is done by what's happening with Russia and Ukraine."

Jack Smith: I'll give you an example from from my life. I resigned as special counsel. I know I need to get a lawyer because the president has said he wants to jail me for doing my job. And so I retain lawyers, as soon as that becomes public, the president and the justice department target that law firm, and they do it because they don't want me to have counsel. They don't want to have anyone represent me…

Again, there is nothing the United States or its interest or allies gain from supporting Orban. It’s even against the Trump admin's own stated goals, as the WSJ points out. This is purely a Kremlin mission and Trump and Vance are carrying it out obediently.
WSJ: "Mr. Vance likes to say Europe should play the leading role in supporting Ukraine, since Ukraine doesn’t matter to the U.S.—yet Mr. Orbán is obstructing a European financial plan to do exactly that. The Hungarian is also trying to deepen commercial ties with China." wsj.com/opinion/jd-vance-hun…

I’m really glad Anne Applebaum is speaking out on this, because JD Vance’s visit to Hungary today is unquestionably election interference. He openly attacked Europe again trying to defend a man who has driven his country into the ground under an ocean of corruption. 🎥 TikTok - vm.tiktok.com/ZNRX3J8Wo/
