$sofi Further on the short report They said if they take what they consider expenses that were capitalized and deduct them from income, Sofi's income drops by 90%. Unfortunately, you cannot adopt your own opinions on what should and should not be an expense or capitalized. Those determinations are made under GAAP accounting for all public companies. I could do the same thing in reverse and say I think issuing stock should be considered income. This report and their trading should warrant an sec inquiry. Notice however all the qualifying language. It's a joke

$SOFI Path to 40 million clients, $5bn in Net income and $4 EPS by 2030 - Base assumptions - 1. Revenue grows at a CAGR of 28% from 2024 - 2030 (which I absolutely believe is doable considering the company's past track record of durable growth in the fintech winter of 2022-2024, markedly favorable macro and reduced regulation atleast until end of 2028 and new products likely to be added..) 2. Sofi's single biggest expense by far - Sales & Marketing - significantly reduces as a percentage of total revenue over time adding more to the bottom line. 3. Sofi's rapid rise in unaided brand awareness helps reduce Customer acquisition cost over time and powers total client count past 40 million by 2030.

It’s not just about the stock price — it’s about the disconnect in communication and leadership response. Take this post as an example: Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir, directly challenges and dismantles the NYT’s argument live on national TV. That’s leadership — standing up for the company and its vision. In contrast, every time SOFI shows a bit of positive momentum, it’s immediately met with negative articles, false narratives, and sell ratings designed to kill the rally. Every SOFI investor has seen this pattern play out again and again. We’re asking @anthonynoto to step up, address the misinformation, and close that communication gap. The silence only helps the bears — we need a voice that defends and represents the company.

Good question... but as i said there's a lot of selling in January. It really doesn't affect the long term value of the company. They company says they are making investments in 2025 and predicting 27 cents profit after tax in 2025 v 15 cents without tax in 2024. On a comparable basis, that's 15 cents and 36 cents. That's a 140% increasein profitability in one year or about $300 million profit. So people think that's not enough and another 30 million profit is necessary or it's big trouble. You don't run your company based on internet chatter from people who really have no idea how to run a business like Sofi, especially analysts who have an agenda. I predict we'll get way more clarity and transparency as we get deeper into this year.

There was a time when $SOFI was launching huge new products in very rapid succession. I want to see this type of product focus and product expansion again.
