Many of us in the movement thought it was 2yrs too early for a referendum but the FC petition changed the landscape.
Now we begin Phase 2 also 2yrs earlier.
Time to build on the 25% base in the forward progress of a federal #AlbertaIndependence party à la BQ for #Elxn46🇨🇦.

I don't expect anyone in real life to know my X account, because I use an AI generated photo, and don't use my full name.
But one time, I was on a job site, and was chatting with a lab tech, and a strange look appeared on his face. He quickly walked off, then returned with his phone. He showed me the phone -- X app open to one of my posts.
"This is YOU!"
It wasn't exciting for me to be recognized, it was worrying. He followed me and shared a lot of similar views, so it wasn't a problem in this case, but it did make me reconsider sharing work-related stories or insights on X.
I speak freely on here because I don't expect or want my political commentary to have any effect on my work -- neither for my employer, clients, nor vendors.
There are too many wing-nuts out there who will use social media posts -- especially on political topics -- to try to create problems for people.

The CEO of Miller orders a Miller Light.
The CEO of Coors orders a Coors Light.
The CEO of Guinness orders a Coke.
The first three ask the CEO of Guinness why he didn't order a Guinness, to which he replied:
"I figured if you 3 weren't ordering beer, it would be rude for me to."

So he’s committing fraud because if you’re able to work you can’t collect disability benefits.

Canadian leftists in a nutshell:
I’m poor, disabled, trans and because of these things I’m scared with this BC Conservative win.
I’m also a chemist who could work but I refuse and instead collect disability because of my “morals.” ( far-left ideologies )

And B.C. Premier lost because of TDS!? 😆 🤣 😂
These people are not well.
It’s a full blown psychosis at this point.
They are no longer fit to lead.
It’s inhumane to allow them to continue to embarrass themselves in public.
Have mercy, BC.
“Retire” Eby so he can seek help.

Grocery stores make about $1 in profit for every $30 of goods sold. So if this person walked out carrying about $75 in groceries, that instantly erases the profit from $2250 in sales. Something to consider as you complain about grocery prices.

38% of non-white Canadians think there are too many non-white immigrants compared to 34% of white Canadians who think so
A new poll on immigration from the Environics Institute finds that first-generation Canadians and non-white Canadians have stronger opinions against immigration than white Canadians and third-generation+ Canadians.
63% of first-generation Canadians and 60% of non-white Canadians think too many immigrants are not adopting Canadian values.

This will be a big test week for Liberals who want you to forget the disastrous Trudeau policies.
The Liberal shipping ban makes it impossible to load Canadian vessels to transport our oil to markets in Asia.
Energy companies would like to ship more oil by rail to Prince Rupert. The facility there can be upgraded to handle oil exports in just two years.
But that can’t happen as long as the shipping ban stays in place.
We don’t need a Major Projects Office or MOU to increase our exports.
We need less Liberal bureaucracy blocking exports.
Will Liberal MPs truly turn the page on the Trudeau era? Or will they vote to keep his legacy intact, and the oil in the ground.
Vote is this Wednesday! Stay tuned.
Alberta supports Conservative MP David McKenzie’s Bill C-264 to repeal the federal Oil Tanker Moratorium Act and remove barriers preventing our responsibly produced energy from reaching global markets. Repealing the ban would open the door to crude-by-rail exports through Prince Rupert, giving Alberta another route to reach customers around the world.
Our oil to the United States is selling at a significant discount at a disadvantage to the entire country. The only effective way to close that gap is to increase exports off our western coast and get more customers competing for our energy. For decades, limited access to tidewater has left Alberta heavily dependent on a single customer, putting our oil at a competitive disadvantage and reducing the value of our resources.
The Trans Mountain Expansion has helped open new markets, particularly in Asia, but we need more pipelines and more access to tidewater. Pacific Link will help increase our export capacity, but we also need to remove the federal tanker ban to unlock opportunities through Prince Rupert. Global demand for energy continues to grow, and Alberta has the resources to help meet it.
Alberta holds the fourth-largest proven oil reserves in the world, and developing those resources benefits all Canadians. They help fund hospitals, schools, critical infrastructure and social programs across the country, while creating long-term economic opportunities for Indigenous communities through investment and co-ownership in major projects.
Canada cannot become a global energy superpower while federal policies continue to stand in the way of getting our energy to the world. Repealing the tanker ban is an important step toward securing better prices for our resources and building a stronger, more prosperous Canada.
