@hankgreen Imagine a world with no time zones, only universal time. Bank hours could adjust locally, and we don't have to suffer depending on what side of a zone we are on. I lived on a border city and people who lived a mile from me used to have the sun rise a clock hour earlier
Communities can choose what their own local 'bankers hours' or school hours should be. Farming communities could adjust theirs for the seasons, and the rest of us could just not. This affects TV, regional and international travel, commerce, etc very positively.
