It had a fucking 1950's Americana diner.

And the short-order cook knew intricate details of obscure galactic weaponry the Jedi Archives didn't.
Everything about the movie was stupid.

Dear Nikola
I will never forget what you did for the nba, the most transcendent player I’ve ever watched, and the best offensive player ever. Despite constant hate towards you, all you ever did was prove everyone wrong.
For all some people praised Mbappe for his social views, he ends up being a money hungry loser catering to China, similar to LeBron.

Undeniably a good show
On an interpersonal level, and character work it’s very good
But wow the adaptation isn’t good, and I know the exact writers to blame but it’s also a showrunners problem
There’s a lot fundamentally wrong with this adaptation

Last regular season, Drake Maye played six games against defenses that finished in the top half of EPA/dropback allowed (Browns, Saints, Steelers, Falcons, Bills x2). His EPA/dropback in those games was +0.16 which ranked 2nd/36 among all quarterbacks against top 16 pass defenses
He also played four games against eventual playoff teams in the regular season (Steelers, Panthers, Bills x2). His +0.21 EPA/dropback in those games would rank 1st/36 among all quarterbacks vs playoff defenses. He ranked 1st/36 in opponent-adjusted EPA/dropback if that means anything
When you add the playoffs on, he goes to 3rd/36 in opponent-adjusted EPA/dropback, 14th against top 16 passes defenses and 18th against playoff teams
All of this is to say it is true he had an easy schedule last year but even adjusting for that in multiple ways he played really well
This season, however, he ranks 28th/36 in EPA/play and 18th/36 in success rate. He has the 6th highest negative play rate in the league
He is facing pressure at the 3rd highest rate in the league and has the 4th highest sack rate in the league. The six interceptions and one lost fumble have been -32.5 total EPA combined. Down-to-down it’s been about league average but the negatives have been so bad it’s hurting him badly. Hopefully he can keep the positives we saw in 2025 and turnaround the negatives we’ve seen in 2026
It's not good for the NFL that guys who were slightly above average at their peak repeatedly do this walking off the couch as old men simply because they don't run after a single read.
Passing plays typically yield a success rate of 45% to 50%, whereas rushing plays hover around 33% to 38%.

He's still 16th in dropback success rate, just above Stafford and Burrow. He scrambles a ton but he's been successful on 9/10 of those.
Now if you want to get into *real* issues, it's to not make bad plays worse when things are starting to spiral. It's fitting how Maye's issues (youngest starting QB in the NFL right now) happened in Jacksonville. Where Trevor Lawrence was making a lot of the same mistakes, especially in the redzone, early on in his career.
