Eight years ago, QRL mainnet launched with a conviction that felt early at the time: quantum resistance belongs at the foundation, not on the roadmap someday.

🇫🇷 A GOVERNMENT JUST DECLARED BITCOIN'S ENCRYPTION OBSOLETE
France's cyber agency won't certify any security product without quantum-safe encryption after 2027.
It never mentions crypto. Not once.
But Bitcoin and Ethereum run on the exact algorithm France just rejected.
Elliptic curve cryptography.
The clock on "harvest now, decrypt later" just started ticking louder.

This makes the direction of travel crystal clear.
If governments are transitioning to NIST-approved post-quantum cryptography, blockchain networks will eventually need to do the same. Quantum-safe security is becoming a requirement, not a nice-to-have.
$QRL (Quantum Resistant Ledger) was built specifically for this future and already uses NIST-approved quantum-resistant cryptography. It's one of the few projects that has been preparing for the post-quantum era from day one.
Worth noting: $LMT Lockheed Martin referenced QRL technology in one of its patents, highlighting that post-quantum security is being taken seriously far beyond the crypto industry.
