Spending money on land for a new ground, that the majority of people don't want, rather than investment in a team that needs it.

Under 25’s voted 58% against it. Season ticket holders replies were 37% of the 50534. Half of the 37% said yes. 9,900 out of 50,000 ST holders. The questionnaire was deliberately long and convoluted. Give ST’s a simple yes/no text. And members. Then start the dialogue
Latest on @ManUtd new stadium plans. More fan input wanted. Lot of debate about if it should happen.Remember, club said in 2024 ‘more than 52% of 50,000-plus season ticket holders, members and executive club members opted for a new build, compared with 31% who supported refurbishing the existing stadium’. bbc.co.uk/sport/football/art…
Think that was my fourth time in Madrid with a fifth to come next month. Every time I go I feel like I must be missing something the way people hype it, but no I’ pretty sure I’m not. Two great stadiums but that’s about it, genuinely by far the most overrated city I’ve been to.

Manchester United fans will welcome back the historic Stretford End ‘ticker’ for Saturday’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The flag first appeared hanging from the newly built upper tier of the Stretford End in 2000 with ‘24 YEARS’ — marking when rivals Manchester City had last won a trophy, their 1976 League Cup triumph — but was taken down after City won the FA Cup in 2011, by which time it had risen to ‘35 YEARS’.

UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter
They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information
The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain

We were at a real crossroads in May. Unfortunately there was a focus on picking fights with loyal supporters and flogging the brand even more. As opposed to signing a left back.
