Maybe these type of "pay once" makes sense given how everyone can vibe code their own SaaS now. But you cannot host anything yourself then, naturally.
Introducing DataBull 🎉 I was paying $39/mo for DataFast just to see which posts made me money. That's $468 a year. Forever. And it goes up as your traffic grows. So I built my own. Same idea: revenue by traffic source. $29 lifetime. Unlimited sites. Unlimited events. Lifetime updates. > databull.app

Random Russian text as thread name in ChatGPT

Wouldn't be surprised if OpenAI acquired Cloudflare.

What is this @cursor_ai? You give me this, I set max on-demand spending to $100, and then you just charge me for it? So how do I even use this? I want my money back.

Why hasn't any lab done this? 1. Split the codebase into chunks (functions) and embed each. 2. Feed all the chunk vectors at once into a second transformer, so each chunk is one "token" and the whole codebase is one sequence. 3. The model outputs, per chunk, "how likely is a bug here", with attention across the whole codebase. Do it @OpenAI @AnthropicAI

Imagine writing about housing in Spain, in Spanish, then Jeff Bezos quotes you.
100% correct diagnosis and prescription. And it’s not just in Spain.

So when is EU getting dots? We now get reduced usage in ChatGPT with nothing in return while the US has dots running at all times? @thsottiaux

Meanwhile
The sun has finally set on the British empire. This is genuinely so sad to me. The country that gave the world the steam engine is now treating the most revolutionary technology in history as a dirty, ugly tool. Straight out of atlas shrugged

🔥 Today, we are truly excited to announce our technical prototype, the Generative World Simulation system, which integrates JING(镜), an interactive experience model, with DAO(道), a computable shared-world engine. The coupled model and engine connect first-person experience with a shared world that continues to evolve beyond any individual observer. Conditioned on actions and observation history, JING enables agent navigate, manipulate, and communicate from a first-person perspective in the world. Watch our demo video to see it in action! On the official WBench leaderboard as of September 17, 2026, XGEN-JING ranked #1 on the Full split, and #2 on the Navi split. 🎉 DAO maintains shared world state and rules, computes the consequences of actions, and provides JING with only what the current observer can perceive. It also supports autonomous agent decision-making, enabling agents to act independently within an evolving shared world. Together, DAO and JING move beyond generating the next frame toward simulating the world behind it. This marks a small step towards OASIS: not just a world that responds to you, but a world—and a society—that evolves with and without you. 💪 Explore XGEN Labs~: 🔗 Website: xgenlabs.ai/ 🤗 HF: huggingface.co/XGENlabs/XGEN… 🦊 GitHub: github.com/XGEN-Labs/XGEN-JI…

This will be crazy good for robotics
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Replying to @jacobferus
it's a lot bigger than most would think! a hypothetical larger model (let's call it "huge jev" - bigger than another hypothetical model called "big jev") would crush the frontier (if made publically available 🤫)

Dario, Sam and Elon Want AI to Slow Down — Here’s the Only Way That Happens medium.com/tailed-tech/dario…
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. You can read the full post here: darioamodei.com/post/we-must…

I was just rate limited by the pro model in ChatGPT Chat for the first time ever.

Anyone else think GPT-6 Astra was nerfed?

It’s crazy how 90% of replies on meme pages is just AI and people don’t seem to recognize it.
