He helped put “AGI” into the vocabulary. Now the whole industry is racing toward it.
Ben Goertzel (@bengoertzel), Founder and CEO of @SingularityNET, joins the speakers at Tokenize! AI, Politics, Payments & Entertainment in Las Vegas 2026.
Decades of AGI research, more than 25 books, and a decentralized AI network built so no single company owns what comes next. He expects AGI to arrive between 2027 and 2030. Come hear why.

Herkes Claude’un 26 yıllık NSA şifresini yarım saatte çözmesini yapay zeka zaferi diye alkışlıyor ama kimse asıl olaya bakmıyor.
Satoshi Nakamoto’nun 2008’de Bitcoin’i kurarken NSA’in P-256 eğrisine güvenmeyip neden secp256k1 seçtiği dün gece yeniden masaya geldi.
Çünkü 30 dakikada çözülen şey sadece bir sayı değil, küresel internetin 26 yıllık paranoyası: 🧵👇
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

While we were asleep, Elon Musk launched a flying car, the new Tesla Roadster!
It doesn’t have wings like an airplane or rotor blades like a helicopter. It uses thrust from high pressure compressed air thrusters (SpaceX tech), just like a rocket or spaceship, to take off and maneuver.
It goes from 0 to 60 mph (0–97 km/h) in about 0.8 seconds.
Elon said the top speed should exceed 0.5 Mach (half the speed of sound, roughly 380+ mph/over 600 km/h).
Production is set to start in 2028.
Tesla invited a live audience to the unveiling so people wouldn’t dismiss the stunts as AI. The car performed wild moves: driving upside down on a ramp (using a suction system), flipping and hovering in the air, jumping over other Teslas, and landing cleanly….

Hate to dox myself a bit but have worked on just about every fighter jet the US has. I have seen some impressive technology over my career but this is a whole other level. I have so many questions and need to know how this works. How much edge compute is needed to make this happen? My first thought is dual processor + 1TB ram. That way it can handle the fuckquintillion process per second. There was zero correction it nailed it 100%.

🚨JUST IN: Google may bring Bitcoin’s Q-Day sooner than expected after its Willow chip cuts quantum errors 40x.
Google says a technique called “magic state cultivation” now works on its Willow chip, cutting errors about 40x with a record 99.99% accuracy.
Q-Day is the moment a quantum computer becomes powerful enough to break the cryptography that protects Bitcoin wallets.
Google’s own 2025 estimate for cracking RSA encryption with under a million qubits uses this same technique.
The research was published in Science, but Google says it still needs to prove the technique works at a larger scale.

When Michael Crichton (the author of Jurassic Park and many other great novels) was in college at Harvard, he had a writing professor who didn’t like him or his work and kept criticizing it and giving him bad grades.
He decided to demonstrate that the prof had it in for him by submitting an essay by George Orwell instead. Of course, the professor gave it a B-. See pics for details.
I’m totally convinced that the rabid hordes of AI-hating programmers frothing at the mouth about “vibe coded slop” would similarly be dismissive of perfectly crafted code by Fabrice Bellard or John Carmack if it were taken out of context and they suspected it was produced with help from AI agents.
These people don’t actually know what good code looks like. They’re often too incompetent and unlettered to even understand the purpose and nature of various algorithms and systems (for instance, the cancel-correct structured concurrency primitives that I use across all my projects from asupersync) and why they’re useful and better.
Why would they? This is often hard stuff that was relegated to academic CS journals and dissertations just a few years ago, and these people are, by and large, complete imbeciles.
Anyway, just keep that in mind next time you see the people showing up in numbers (always with utterly unimpressive GitHub profiles with 3 forks and a trivial project or two) to declare my work as “slop” and dismiss me for having “AI psychosis.”
I would say to pity them for the fact that economic reality is about to slam into them like a brick wall, except many of them are so antisocial and nasty that they deserve that wake-up call and reality check.

It’s crazy how much acting and voice quality have improved in just a few months. 👀
Expressions feel more natural.
Timing is better.
Dialogue lands harder.
Characters are starting to actually perform instead of just move.
And we’re still at the beginning.
Imagine what we’ll be able to direct a few months from now. 🎬🔥

Researchers at MIT developed Draft, a tool that lets engineers design and customize robots by adjusting parameters such as limb length, body size, and motor power.
It uses real-world hardware data and reinforcement learning to estimate robot feasibility and test performance in simulation.
The tool helps researchers explore robot designs faster without rebuilding CAD models for every change.

The Pentagon announced a roughly $350 million quantum computing push aimed at U.S. leadership amid competition with China. The Office of Strategic Capital also signed a $150 million conditional loan commitment to PsiQuantum for the Milpitas plant.
A line of funding is not a CRQC, but the needle keeps moving forward.

To solve Bitcoin's Quantum problem, we need a fast migration solution and a plan for what happens to Satoshi's coins and other coins that likely won't migrate in time.
qsave.org
Bitcoin's post-quantum plan is out of time. IonQ's latest roadmap is set to break Bitcoin encryption by the end of 2028. But Bitcoin's design, consensus, implementation, and the migration itself are likely to take longer. We have a problem. We need to implement something faster, and we need to decide what happens to the coins that will likely be left behind, for example, Satoshi's coins. qsave.org

here's how hackers steal your crypto from tampered Ledgers.
they attach a small hardware implant to the wires connecting Ledger's secure chip to the OLED display.
basically, anything displayed on the screen can also be read by the hidden chip.
so when your 24-word seed phrase appears during setup, the implant captures it and stores it.
then a built-in 4G modem and eSIM transmit that phrase to the attacker, completely independently of your computer.
the craziest part is that the device can still pass Ledger's authenticity check because the original secure chip is genuine.
and fun fact: some people even buy these fake Ledgers just to extract the eSIM and use it for free mobile data lmao
Ledger is investigating reports of loss of funds from users in South East Asia who purchased products from a reseller named CryptoBillis. As a precaution, and pending the results of our investigation, we have asked CryptoBilis to pause all sales and shipments of Ledger devices. We recommend Ledger users who purchased from this reseller in the last 90 days to not initiate set up if you have not done so yet. If you have set up your Ledger device, consider moving assets to a new Ledger signer (with new seed). We will continue to inform customers of updates as the investigation progresses.
