An apology I didn’t anticipate drafting at any point. When we built Salesforge, our goal was to help companies cut costs by consolidating the bloated stack of outbound tools. We may have gone too far. We are currently investigating reports of unprecedented budget surpluses, forcing finance teams to re-evaluate what to do when half their software spend suddenly vanishes overnight. This “crisis” of leftover budget was an unforeseen, albeit welcome, side effect. Customers are already reporting unusual decisions, like hiring a full-time EDM DJ to hype SDRs during cold calls, or installing espresso machines in every bathroom stall for “pipeline efficiency.” We sincerely regret the radical savings your team will now have to explain to the CFO.

We're sending 40M cold emails per month now That averages to around 1.3M per day Here's some no bs advice on how to make it print money

5) 99.99% of people will fail on Outbound If you have 0 knowledge, you're better off hiring someone who can actually do it properly Won't be cheap but it will still be cheaper than running it yourself and failing

I do outbound for a living And there's a good reason why I can live off of it It's cause I don't do sh*t like this 1) She's pitching ME LinkedIn outreach, I have the numbers in my headline lol 2) The DM's feel like I've subscribed to instructions on how to disassemble a BMW diesel engine in under 60 minutes If you actually want to make sure LinkedIn dm's work 1) Make it conversational, almost SMS like 2) NEVER send more than 1 followup in a sequence, you have higher chances of converting the prospect if you put them in another sequence 4-8 weeks later 3) pls make sure you're not pitching the same stuff they sell themselves P.S. if you feel like it's too hard to start sending dm's, then this is your competition. Trust me you're good P.P.S. If you don't want to handle it yourself -> outboundpros.io

Been testing multiple "unlimited" data providers over the last 6 months And only two have stayed in my stack Here's why Most providers treat "unlimited" as a new pricing option Add "unlimited" to the package But rate limit the crap out of it New provider popped up last week, screams "unlimited", but the fine print says "200k per day max" And that's not how you build a reliable client base Here are the two providers that have stayed in my stack 1) @blitzapi ran by Antoine Blitz 2) LeadOcean.io ran by Ashish Rai Blitz is a very safe option for about 95% of people running outbound daily But if you really need large quantities of data that's very hard to get to, LeadOcean is the way to go Also if you ping Ashish directly, he will be able to hook you up with some very nice datasets (tell him Janis sent ya) Both of these run about 200 RPS Which is the golden standard I've also tested like 12 more "unlimited" datasets None of them have really stuck around And the problem is not even that they falsely advertise It's also a problem with very outdated data Let's say you launch a campaign And you look at it. A day later you see, "Oh there's a 2% reply rate." And 1.5% of that is just, "Hey I've moved on from this position." That's a reply rate nobody wants to see Also Google is actively monitoring every single reply that comes in like that Which means that it essentially is a soft bounce Even if you run them through a verification tool Won't help you with the quality of the dataset You must choose a provider wisely If you don't want to spend money on useless data and burned infrastructure

One thing I hate with Azure mailboxes is that Microsoft blocks sending completely And it inflates bounce rates up to 80% in some cases I would rather live in spam than get blocked by Microsoft completely Any thoughts?

This week we've added additional 17M email sends to our monthly volume Previously it was a bit over 12M which we accumulated in the last 6 months and in 2 days we more than doubled the sending volume Which means we're sending more than a Million emails everyday Decent

I've been using @gojiberryai for the last week now. And even though I don't like signal based outreach I've been using it for signal based widenet And so far in a week, we've generated over 120 leads Just by doing "low volume" widenet I've only sent around 60,000 emails And it's been pumping hard If you want the playbook comment "WIDE" and I'll send i to you

Spamhaus is rolling out HELO and reverse DNS checks on every sending IP in November. If you send from Google or Microsoft mailboxes, that part sits with them. I read the full guidelines. 3 other lines hit cold email harder, and one is about warmup 👇
