🚨 Arsene Wenger on reports Manchester City could face a 100-point deduction:
🗣️ Arsene Wenger: “One hundred points is not enough. It does not even begin to cover the damage they have done. For years they have spent money that other clubs could not match, signed players that other clubs could not compete for, and won titles that other clubs had no realistic chance of challenging. And now we are supposed to believe a points deduction is the full price of that.
“The Premier League has been distorted. The table has been distorted. The transfer market has been distorted. Clubs that tried to play by the rules have been left behind while one club operated on a different financial planet. A hundred points does not give those clubs their seasons back. It does not give them the players they lost in the market. It does not give them the titles that were decided before a ball was kicked.
“They should be relegated. They should be banned from Europe for longer than five years. The ownership should be forced to sell. And every title won during the period under investigation should be stripped. Anything less is an insult to every club that has been competing against an unfair advantage.
“I have said for years that financial rules only matter if they are enforced properly. If the evidence is as serious as these reports suggest, then one hundred points is the minimum, not the maximum. The damage they have caused to the competition is bigger than any single punishment that has been discussed. The league needs to show it is willing to protect itself. Right now, even a hundred points looks like a compromise.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Arsene Wenger did not say this. The quote is fabricated; no credible sources record these statements and his actual comments differ.

ASTONISHING: CJP’s Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das still in judicial custody for trespass and violation of prohibitory orders while waving the tricolour at Jantar Mantar (not an act of violence by any reckoning), and Hindu Raksha Dal members who were caught on camera beating protestors out on bail (an act of brazen goondaism). Yeh hai kanoon??😡

I turn 58 today. But that's under the old system.
I've adjusted the methodology, revised the base year to 2010, and recalculated the figures.
I hereby declare that I'm now a sprightly 16. And growing year on year.
Several of the listed areas have roots before 2014. Highways began with the National Highways Development Project in 1998. Renewable energy via the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission in 2010. Space programs include Chandrayaan-1 (2008) and Mangalyaan launch (2013). Digital foundations such as Aadhaar (2010), NPCI (2008) and 4G (2012) also predate, as does the National Manufacturing Policy (2011). Specific named efforts like Digital India (2015), UPI (2016), Make in India (2014), Vande Bharat (2019) and 5G (2022) started later.
It is important to go back to the evidence of vote chori brought by @RahulGandhi last year September to November as it was the most painstakingly researched findings from the physical voters list. Now that Gyanesh is caught with pants down it is important to revisit the evidence provided by RG for Karnataka , Haryana and Maharashtra. We owe this to our electoral democracy and the people who exercise their most precious right.

In his hatred for people, Narendra Modi has started hating the Indian flag now 🇮🇳
.@centai_health I received this SMS from one of your representatives just now when I informed him over WhatsApp that I would not like to go ahead with the Testing.
The person calling me since last evening, was named Ajay. Not sure if this number belongs to him or another rep.

Somehow, in my beloved India, evil is being repackaged as strength, cruelty as courage, arrogance as leadership, and hatred as patriotism.
When did we start confusing moral bankruptcy with greatness?

I've seen many Rail Roko Andolans.
But this one is a bit weird.
People are doing Andolan. Govt is doing Rail Roko.

Across the country, people are fighting for their rights - and too often, fighting alone.
Gen Z, students, farmers, Adivasis, Dalits, women - every struggle has its own story. But a lone voice is often easier to silence.
‘Satyagraha’ is an initiative to bring these voices together on one map.
Bapu taught us that truth is our greatest weapon. But an even greater weapon is standing together with the truth.
If you too are fighting against any injustice, share your story. It will take just two minutes.
Your story will find a place on the Satyagraha map. You’ll see who else, like you, is fighting their own battle.
And I will do whatever I can - in Parliament, on the streets, through letters, wherever I am needed - to stand with you. As the Leader of the Opposition, that is my responsibility.
Tell me the story of your Satyagraha here:

Before shutting Mumbai’s T1 and shifting a huge number of passengers to Navi Mumbai, shouldn’t the basic public transport infrastructure have been ready?
While there are buses, there is still no direct metro connecting Mumbai to NMIA. A cab home can cost ₹2,000–₹3,000 or more.
Metro Line 8, the crucial Mumbai–Navi Mumbai airport link, is still only in the planning stage, with 2029 being the projected opening.
Why are we shutting down a busy & crucial airport terminal before putting the mass-transit alternative in place? Mumbai is one of the world’s great cities. This level of infrastructure planning simply isn’t good enough.

PM Modi keeps telling us he is the son of a poor mother. But today, because of him, so many children in this country have become the sons of poor mothers.
