Dead Poets was my favorite movie for so long for all the reasons Bunn captures here. And a good reminder for all of us in Christian Ed that “future ready” shouldn’t be at the expense of the whole person.
Very glad to be back in @Current_Pub1 today defending Dead Poets Society against its detractors. Give me a hundred students of Keating rather than a hundred stuffy modernists!

First of many for @RyanJonesJR1! 🏀
I, too, owe much of my success in Christian school leadership to the wise counsel and uplifting encouragement of @DanBeerens!
The advancement of Christian education didn’t happen by chance. It has taken committed educators, thinkers, innovators, and dreamers to lead the way. I consider myself blessed that one of them, Dan Beerens, is a friend and advisor.

Hopefully Napier will hire a defensive coordinator to mentor the defensive coordinator who was hired to mentor the defensive coordinator.
This is a lazy take. I worked in K-12 Christian education for 25 years. The parents didn’t choose my school because of propaganda, but rather, from a deep conviction that faith and education are inexorably linked. They were seeking discipleship not fleeing public schooling.

HALF: Florida #Gators trail 24-10 against No. 19 Miami.
UF adds Ron Roberts, the "author" of the defense, to oversee a 30-year-old coordinator. Billy Napier touts increased experience from the players. And UF is on pace to give up 566 yards at home in its opener.

Why I’m voting third party:
Voting is an investment in the long-term future of the nation, not only something that will benefit us in our own lifetimes.

We found him! 😝 I took my 14-year-old to the Florida BigFoot Conference today because he’s a believer. He got to meet some of the stars of Finding BigFoot and other shows & podcasts. Ahh, the things we do for our kids!
