Last month, I completed a private security audit for a project, and the sponsor was highly satisfied with the results.😊 This month, I’ve been reaching out to more project founders, encouraging them to take security seriously and protect their users, assets, and reputation. While some founders have responded positively, others are still skeptical about investing in security early. The truth is security is not optional in Web3. It is a necessity. Many projects only realize its importance after an exploit or loss, and by then, the damage is already done (e.g. @hyperbridge) Big respect to the founders who are proactive about securing their projects before problems arise. Prevention will always cost less than recovery. Let’s spread awareness so more founders understand the importance of smart contract and project security. Retweet and share this with builders in the space. If you want to improve the security of your project, my DMs are open.
Security update 🚨 Completed a private Solana audit for CONI Wallet and the results are a reminder of why audits matter: • 1 Critical vulnerability • 2 Medium issues • 6 Low-risk findings Every bug caught before deployment is a win. The critical issue is already being addressed, and we’re working closely with the team to strengthen the overall security posture. Now looking to partner with more builders who take security seriously. Need a smart contract audit or security consultation? Reach out on Telegram 📩 t.me/Icon0x Build fast but secure it faster.

Tunde needs a raise he helped the company recover 30 billion
So a Nigerian fintech lost 30 billion due to the frontend dev accepting cookies on the backend. His name is tunde, he was scrolling the excel database when a popup appeared to accept cookies and he didn’t log out and he accepted the cookies and like that 30 billion naira was stolen from the company. But as an experienced dev, he quickly got into action and contacted one of his friends who’s a word press dev and that one told him to restart the terminal and turn off the WiFi and he did and the malware attacked the virus and the virus got sick and they returned the 30 billion. His boss was so surprised, they praised him and prompted him and now he no longer earns 150k as a full stack dev since his salary was revised and he now he earns 153k after tax. This is a true story. Be like tunde.

The foundation of decentralized apps Ethereum is a decentralized Blockchain that allows developers to deploy smart contracts self-executing programs that run automatically once specific conditions are met This shifted blockchains from just sending money to running applications.

Ever felt lost when people talk about L2s? You’re not alone. Let me explain it plainly. Right here. 👇 Ethereum doesn’t scale by cutting corners on security. Instead, it scales by pushing work off-chain and settling results back on Ethereum. That’s where Layer 2 comes in.

In 2026, you're going to hear a lot more about privacy tech on Ethereum—ZK and FHE. If you're still not familiar with them, this thread is for you: Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) are two leading privacy-preserving technologies in blockchain, particularly for Ethereum. - ZK allows a prover to demonstrate the validity of a computation without revealing underlying data (the "witness"), - while FHE enables computations on encrypted data without ever decrypting it, producing an encrypted result. Both aim to enhance privacy and confidentiality, but they differ significantly in approach, trade-offs, and current applicability. 🧵Below is a detailed analysis 👇

we have over 100 ercs on ethereum. yet most people only know a few erc-20, erc-721 and claim to “interact with ethereum.” if you really want to build products, there are key ercs you must know. these aren’t just for reading you need to interact with them, experiment, and understand how they power defi, nfts, smart wallets, and cross-chain apps. start small. dedicate a week or a few focused days each week to study, research, and play with these ercs. this is how you actually learn ethereum at a deep, product-building level. erc-8004 – meta agents. create autonomous contracts and agents in 1 minute. guide: teapaw.org/vittostack/status/1999… erc-7683 – cross-chain intents. send actions across l2s and chains seamlessly. vitalik’s explanation: teapaw.org/vitalikbuterin/status/… erc-4337 – account abstraction. code how transactions are signed ,not just with private keys. powers smart wallets, gas abstraction, and social recovery: teapaw.org/patrickalphac/status/1… erc-4626 – tokenized vaults. standard for defi vaults: deposit, receive shares, withdraw. used in yearn, liquid staking, and automated yield products. erc-3009 – transfer with authorization. gasless token transfers via signatures, enabling atomic operations. adopted by newer stablecoins. erc-2612 – permit for erc-20. approve + transfer in one off-chain signature. common in uniswap and other defi apps. erc-712 – typed structured data signing. foundation for meta-transactions and permits. powers erc-2612, erc-3009, erc-4337. erc-1155 – multi-token standard. supports fungible + non-fungible tokens in one contract. perfect for gaming and batch transfers. erc-173 – ownership standard. defines who owns a contract. critical for contract management. erc-165 – interface detection. lets contracts discover what other contracts support. underpins composable smart contracts. erc-2981 – nft royalties. standardizes royalty payments across marketplaces. ensures creators get paid. erc-1820 – interface registry. registry that maps interfaces to implementations. used by contracts like erc-777 and erc-1400. erc-777 – modern token standard. hooks for sending/receiving tokens with better safety and backward compatibility with erc-20. erc-3156 – flash loan interface. standardizes flash lending across defi protocols. enables atomic arbitrage and liquidations. erc-1046 – tokenuri standard. standardizes metadata uri format for tokens. used for nfts and asset discovery. erc-5484 – soulbound token standard. non-transferable tokens for identity, achievements, or credentials. useful in web3 identity systems. resources & references erc-8004 / x402 agents demo / hands-on reference teapaw.org/vittostack/status/1999… erc-8004 article / explanation by vittostack & marcello_ai teapaw.org/vittostack/status/2009… erc-7683 cross-chain intents / vitalik tweet teapaw.org/vitalikbuterin/status/… erc-4337 explanation / patrickalphac thread teapaw.org/patrickalphac/status/1… why account abstraction exists / patrickalphac teapaw.org/patrickalphac/status/1… official erc list eips.ethereum.org/erc erc repository / github github.com/ethereum/ERCs full eip guide / terms & process eips.ethereum.org/ key notes for writing or proposing ercs: ideas must first be discussed on ethereum magicians or ethereum research after consensus, read and review eip-1, which explains the full erc/eip process everything is open source, and anyone can contribute
