Inspired by @CorySwan to post short videos regularly. Today’s post coffee thought- we have to build, always, no matter what. we have to outbuild the entropy of the bad decisions that other people are making around us

The history of creativity and originality is a timeline of people taking the work of others and combining it in a unique manner. That’s not a bug, it’s the core innovation. Claude itself couldn’t be conceived today using Anthropic’s own morals that they thrust upon their users.
An update on building games with Claude Code: Last week some of you ran into Claude Code pushing back on game projects it should have just built. We'd added a short rule to the Opus 5.5 prompt to steer Claude away from recreating specific existing games, but it was also kicking in when you referenced one just to describe the mechanics you wanted. We've updated that rule in 2.1.317. You can name a game to describe what you want and Claude should now build an original game in that genre. If you ask for a copy of the original, it'll offer to build something similar instead. We want Claude to be as helpful as possible when you're building something original, but also to protect your work if someone else tries to copy it. We'll keep improving this, so let us know if Claude turns down work that's yours. Thanks to everyone who shared feedback!

Between this and the bank in Paraguay, we are witnessing first hand why bitcoin matters. Sad state of affairs when people actively campaign against the very tool that can protect against these kinds of events. I’m sure Peter will be fine, but many of his customers won’t be.
Tldr: Customers who deposited money into Peter Schiff’s bank “may end up losing 100% of the value of their accounts.”

It’s fascinating to see bitcoin live rent free in the minds of the financial thinkbois. It just doesn’t make sense to their fiat lizard brains. “It’s not a productive asset” “It’s a tulip bubble” “It’s ___________”
This is the take I hear most often about $btc that makes me feel bearish

The only reason they continue to talk about it is because they want to validate their decision to exit their position. And they know it’s good for engagement farming. Blue checks love their sweet check from daddy Elon.

Top tier reverse uno, global statecraft reaching levels previously unimaginable.
Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, has denied allegations that North Korea was behind the reported $6.3 billion Binance hack. “The U.S. claim is preposterous nonsense.” She also suggested, without providing evidence, that the Trump administration itself could be responsible, pointing to the U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

At this point, if you aren't under attack, you just haven't been found yet. We made @TryMapleAI to be the security tool that's as easy as Claude. It has encrypted DeepSeek Uncensored that will scan your setup and work for you. Get Maple now and add it to your toolkit.

BREAKING: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman says having RAM in personal computers is an inefficient use of the world’s limited DRAM supply, arguing it would be better allocated to data centers, per Tom’s Hardware

🚨Security Vulnerability 🚨 All nodes are affected. Patch coming later today to add mitigations and fixes where available. Swapping to Tor-only via the settings page may help mitigate this. The better mitigation is to remove remote access to your node or temporarily shut down. Looks like there may not be a kernel update for Raspberry Pi quite yet. More info will be coming.
Important notice for the Bitcoin community: if you are running lnd on Linux, and it has open ports, you should shut it down until you patch your Linux kernel or otherwise mitigate CVE-2026-98432. Not lnd's fault. But there's a Linux kernel exploit with mptcp that is relevant.

Guy who devotes 15 hours a day to optimizing his diet and lifestyle: crippling headache in a first class lounge Guy who’s 5 martinis deep at 8 am when he hears the last call for his flight: able to sprint a quarter mile to make it in time while holding his McDonald’s happy meal
sitting in an airport lounge, headache within 30 minutes. last time i was here (SJO) co2 level was 1200-2000ppm in this lounge. i don't think we understand how bad air is in places like this and how negatively it affects us.

If they can shut off withdrawals for 48 hours, what's stopping them from shutting it off for 48 days? Or 48 weeks? Binance is a single point of failure, treat it accordingly.
**Service Update** Deposits remain unaffected and continue to operate as normal. Our team is currently working on enhancements to the withdrawal service and related address controls. We expect to begin resume withdrawal services in the next 48 hours. We will continue to share updates through official Binance channels as progress is made.

Binance can cover the gap for two reasons: 1. They led retailers into degeneracy for a decade, siphoning billions in the process. 2. Many centralized shitcoins are freezing funds, highlighting that they weren't decentralized to begin with. Don't let the PR spin fool you.
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified. The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far. Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete. As an immediate precaution, Binance has: - temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed; - revoked the affected address authorisation; - engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds. Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions. binance.com/en/support/annou…
