Is the word "Catholic" mentioned anywhere in Scripture to describe the church or followers of Christ? The answer is no! Does Ignatius mention the word "Catholic" describing the church or followers of Christ in his letter from 197 AD? No. When is the first time the word Catholic is used to describe the church?
Protestants don't actually believe "Sola Scriptura" is true, as their fake churches and personal lives prove. Their religion is based on the twisting of Scripture, so they must allow no sources for argument except the Scriptures. Actual Church history and the logic of doctrinal development confound them, so they are disallowed. They speak against an imaginary "Catholicism" they learn from Chick tracts and act as if the Summa Theologica doesn't exist.
Mr. William, if you would be so kind, define what and who the church is using Scripture only.
Catholics: Stop wrangling with Protestants over all of the nonsense they talk about. Only one issue matters:
Protestants must prove that their separation from the Catholic Church is not schism. If they cannot do so (which they can't) they must return to the Church or die outside Christ's Church. All of their energy is spent trying to make excuses to NOT repent of schism and return to the Church.
I believe this to be true. There are no unique arguments or defenses using Scripture among them just rehashed Catholic talking points. It's the one thing that enrages and saddens me about the Roman Catholic institution. They are helping to send millions to hell with their road blocks to the Gospel, and their false teaching and authority.
Breaking AOC and democrats want to give free health care to every 3rd world person who can steal across the border thus destroying health care for all.
Yes, this is CA. Always high gas prices because of CA politicians and the State tax on gas. Stop gaslighting. You should be saying you will repeal CA's gas tax, and remove other democrat regulations to improve affordability there. Democrats have ruined CA.
Zach has already made that clear by his own description of what he believes. His theology is not Christian. He's a fraud like Talarico.
Remember, Zach has made his theology known and it is not Christian.
Health care for all, while throwing open the borders to the 3rd world, means health care for none. Health care for all, while killing freedom choice and options, means health care for none.
Paul did meet Jesus when he was alive, and did receive His teachings. You are anti-Christ as described in I John.
Paul never met Jesus while he was alive.
He never heard a single teaching from him in person.
Yet almost the entire Christian religion is built on Paul’s letters and ideas.
The man who never sat with Jesus gets to define the faith more than the ones who actually walked with him.
How does that make any sense?
