BC authorities are trying to rewrite history by claiming that BC schools were magically safe during the #COVID19 pandemic year.

Building a pipeline without Indigenous and BC agreement is a territorial insult.
Not to mention there's nothing 'green' about a pipeline - the rest is total spin.
AND it makes zero financial sense as the world moves away from fossil fuels.

Did anyone else watch @CBCTheNational tonight? A whole long segment on absenteeism in school kids massively increasing over the last five years and not one single mention of Covid. 🫠🙃 They blamed it all on anxiety and bullying.
And the poor kid they interviewed who doesn’t like to go to school? He has some kind of tic disorder, which they don’t mention, he just says he twitches a lot and gets stomach aches - has this poor kid seen a neurologist? Does he have Long Covid?
Inexplicably, the mom who only makes a brief appearance is wearing a baggy fabric mask. 😭 The kid and dad are unmasked. I have so many questions, but most of all, how the reporters and producers at The National can continue to be so ignorant about what is happening 6 YEARS IN. It’s just so infuriating and my heart breaks for these poor kids.
Maybe instead, cover how the government and public health has completely failed society by not installing industrial air purifiers in schools and hospitals, and the media let them, and now a whole generation of kids is going to grow up sick and disabled by preventable illness.
