And this is not even potentially the new zoo leaders faults at all, there has to be a buy in from the marketing and athletic department as well
During my leadership there was a strong connection between the leaders, the marketing/athletic department, and the team and we were so locked in on doing whatever to make an amazing environment to win
If the departments do not give the zoo leaders the resources they need to thrive, it can be really tough, EVERYONE NEEDS TO BELIEVE!
My first year as a zoo leader we were coming off a 11 win team and the first game of the season in 2022 against UT Martin we had the zoo packed and energized, I knew that team would be special and did everything I could to voice that to the student body
You have to be able to grass roots campaign and market the team to students and get them to believe, we had very creative ways to get students to claim tickets, @adhboom was truly unbelievable at it
LAME! #PackThePete
I heard Jay say last night that there were only 70 @OaklandZoo ticket requests.
Unacceptable! Get it together student body. Season tips Monday. Need the ZOO full throat every night!
