My favorite part of breast cancer so far is the doctors telling me it’s aggressive and we need to move fast and the insurance company is like, “Cool. We’ll get back to you in 3-14 days with approval for each segment of treatment.” Thanks @UHC
On the one hand, today was my official Huggable Day, and on the other hand, it’s also the day I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I’m open to receiving your breast cancer resources, groups and connections and if you’re huggable, please come hold my baby.

SAME DAY! In the state of Georgia, folks are able to purchase guns on the same day to engage in mass shootings but we can’t register to vote on the same day we would like to cast our ballot? Shouldn’t we direct our energy to gun control or is voter suppression more important?

First, the @annenberglab graciously allowed me to build on some work I've been doing around computation and Audre Lorde's "Uses of the Erotic: Erotic as Power" which is now a workshop + soundbath: eventbrite.com/e/how-to-recl…
I love this! Bees are so extremely important to our ecosystem and can be endangered pollinators. This woman is literally helping to save the planet by doing this.

Cool. Someone help me understand why our kids can go to an amusement park next month but still can't visit their grandparents. Asking for our entire family.
This in such a major way it makes me want to cry. My daughter is 10 months old, I want her to meet her family.
So pleased to see this collab with @JPinderHealth! A very useful resource for us in the Hudson Valley. Thank you!

It’s fun how I didn’t care about this and then Royal Family was so amazingly shitty to Meghan this week that they’ve actually convinced me to watch.

Please ask yourself: when was the last time you saw next-generation, world class technology for education, healthcare, housing, etc consistently prioritized for underserved communities like this?
My first reading of this tweet was that most of the U.S. population identifies as bi (they do not), and I was like, “yeah, that’s right.”
A new study from Gallup finds that 5.6 percent of the U.S. population now identifies as LGBTQ+, and most of them identify as bisexual. 19thnews.org/2021/02/more-yo… via @19thnews’ @shoeleatherkate
Someone help me with this: If both parents are working and contributing to the financial well-being of the family, why does only one person get to claim a child on their taxes?

I recently met with Indigenous activists trying to stop the Line 3 tar sands pipeline from destroying their ancestral home.
Rejecting some of the dirtiest fuel in the world should be a no-brainer.

Not told in this article is how the developers have been disposing of some of the waste by shipping it upstate. They’ve created multiple illegal toxic waste sites near me ruining my neighbors’ soil & well water.
