Anti-immigrant policies have driven thousands of workers out of FL. Instead of welcoming our immigrant neighbors back or raising wages, lawmakers want to replace them with underpaid teens, formerly incarcerated people, and those desperate enough to sign away their basic rights.

NEW: Economic populism helped deliver impressive victories for Democrats across the nation. But those gains could be fickle and short-lived or long-lasting and durable.
To keep and maintain working class majorities, here’s 5 specific ideas for what they need to do next.

It’s not about “progressives” or “moderates.” It’s about the promises these campaigns made. They promised to end endless wars, take on corporate power, make healthcare available to all.
They’ll be held accountable to those promises, and if Dems don’t deliver, we’ll lose.

This is what all the State Legislatures are looking like.
Dems now have the power to pass the National Voter Compact to effectively abolish the Electoral College.

People of Florida. Y’all better hold your damn head high. We broke state legislature super majorities because we drove turnout while everyone wrote us off.
We have work to do sure, but let’s celebrate the fact we won 17 seats down ballot.
I’m an organizer. And I look forward to getting back to what I love and know best. Organizing THE HELL out of my state.
Let’s get to work!

This is absurd. Mission Local is the only outlet that gave all candidates the ability to explain all their policy positions in depth on all issues.
If Scott wins we’re looking at years of vindictive, petty politics like this in SF.
Scott Wiener's campaign has barred our reporter from covering his election night party.
They specifically cited our coverage of Wiener's positions on Israel.
It's an unbecoming move from someone who could serve as San Francisco's next congressperson.

If the Orange County Dems ran the Florida Democratic Party, we would’ve swept Senate, Gov, and AG races. 1000%.
FDP waited too late to assist Angie’s campaign *and* did not push voter registration ahead of the primary or general. Fried’s time is beyond up.

I’m proud of the race we ran. We helped drive turnout and broke the super majority in the state house and senate. 2028 is around the corner. LFG!

.@AngieNixon you changed the game, and your statewide candidacy is helping to flip seats across the state of Florida. I know this isn’t the outcome we wanted, but damn — it was close.

Haley Stevens’ betrayal today shows us it’s not that progressive Democrats, or even democratic socialists, need their own party. It’s that politicians like Haley Stevens always had more in common with Republicans like Mike Rogers and Donald Trump than with the Democratic base. And now she admits it.
That’s why it’s so important to run democratic primaries. It’s not enough to send Democrats to Washington, we have to send Democrats who are fighting for the things working class voters want!

Angie Nixon is taking on the billionaire class — and she's having fun doing it.
Dems in other states may be used to seeing this. But here in Florida? I don’t remember it.
I believe @AngieNixon will shock people again in November and show Ashley Moody and the GOP that people can’t be taken for granted.

Poll after poll shows it — @AngieNixon can win Florida’s U.S. Senate race.
While the political establishment was writing Florida off, Angie has been building a true grassroots movement for a Florida we can actually afford and an end to Moody’s blatant corruption.
Lock in y’all.

. @LauraLoomer When referring to me, it’s Representative Angie Nixon. However after November 3rd, YOU CAN CALL ME SENATOR!
Folks. Donate if you want to see this happen at AngieNixon.com
Replying to @AngieNixon @IAMQUEENLATIFAH
I called you a ghetto bitch, because you are, Angie, and your record proves it.
But, you speak Ebonics though, so maybe I need to bark at you and tug your leash and then you’ll finally understand.

Scott continued raising money from AIPAC board members, despite saying he won't take AIPAC money.
And now, he refuses to do an interview to discuss his views.
Scott only said "genocide" for political expediency, and he'll change back if he's elected.
You can't trust Scott.
Very disappointed that @Scott_Wiener cancelled our interview. I had hoped to give him what the hecklers at the Trans march didn't: The chance to thoughtfully answer people critical of his views on Israel-Palestine. On an issue this weighty, avoiding hard questions isn't good politics. Nor does it show moral courage.

Even as the entire machine worked against her, @DarializaforNY and the working people of NY-13 proved that organized people beats organized money every time!
So proud to send another Justice Democrat recruit from NY to Congress!
@DarializaforNY's wins a seismic defeat of AIPAC & the establishment.
She's the working class champion we need: always standing up to wealthy interests to fight for her #NY13 — no matter the personal cost.

Over 500 volunteers showed up at 6 AM this morning to get the vote out. In 2 hours, we put up over 20,000 door stickers to remind people to vote.
Over the last year, we've built the largest field campaign in San Francisco history, and it's beautiful to see it in action today.
