The John Report: WWE Raw Deal 10/26/26 Review tjrwrestling.net/review/tjr-…
Good #WWERaw again last night. The in-ring action is getting more time. Three women's matches just like on SmackDown. There are fine promos, but the matches are really getting plenty of time. Nice.
Been to dozens and dozens of wrestling shows over 40 years. One of my favorite matches witnessed in person was Owens-Zayn Elimination Chamber 2025. Insanely good.
Sami Zayn was asked about the chemistry that he has with Kevin Owens:
“Well, it’s the word you just said. It’s chemistry, and it’s magic because it’s like there’s no equation yet that we have figured out for what’s going to make two people gel that way in the ring and outside the ring and all that stuff.
It’s just magic.”

What a night for wrestling memorabilia!
The Intercontinental Championship Belt — owned by Tito Santana, Macho Man and Ricky Steamboat — sold tonight at @HeritageAuction for $716,750.
Stone Cold Steve Austin’s signed match worn knee brace is still going after surpassing $225K.
One of my 5 favorite storylines in wrestling history. Wish it had a better ending of course, but that time in 1997 was so much fun.
I don’t have an actual top 5 list. Maybe I should write one some day.
Also
Schefter: Peyton Manning is really fucking rich, doesn’t want potentially stressful job. Will keep making painting “jokes” in commercials.
Love McVay, but not top 5 this year lol.
I asked @Filmwatchers1 to name his top-5 offensive playcallers right now in no particular order:
🏈Kyle Shanahan
🏈Sean McVay
🏈Liam Coen
🏈Joe Brady
🏈Matt LaFleur

My #WWERaw review from last night. Great Raw, thanks to that triple threat for the IC Title with Chad Gable beating Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in an outstanding match. I wasn’t sure it was going to be a match of the year, but they delivered a classic I won’t soon forget. It was certainly on the level of the Roman Reigns-Penta match from last month, although I would probably rate this one a bit higher.
I liked most of the rest of the show. The Penta/Bron Breakker match was also very good, and nearly four stars. Some finishes felt a bit overbooked and too reliant on outside interference, but I get it for advancing the stories.
They did a good job of using Roman Reigns in that opening segment with Sami Zayn, which I thought was an entertaining exchange between two top guys. Later in the show, Reigns was the hero for The Bloodline, and it ended on a happy note.
That Chad Gable-Rey Mysterio-Dragon Lee triple threat match on #WWERaw was absolutely incredible. Chad Gable keeps the Intercontinental Title in what was probably the best Raw match of the year, or one of the best. Loved it. The San Diego crowd was amazing for it.
Good

I'm sure all the calm Yankee fans on this app agree with that decision. #sarcasm
Great video by Kay Fabe.
Congrats Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan on their wedding. NXT is like Love Island with all the couples it has produced. If those two have kids, they will be very athletic.
