How about we stop pathologizing critical attitudes towards adaptations of beloved books? Disagreement with the Narnia adaptation is not evidence of an unhealthy mind, or lack of imagination. Grow up.
The low regard for the church is astonishing to me. For whom does Christ wed Himself to, bro? broseph? bruh?
It’s always good to remember that there is marriage in heaven, but it’s consummated union between Christ and the Church. We have marriage now for the protection of children, and to accommodate our weaknesses, which we won’t have in the resurrection.

Every time I see a relic, I am grateful for the Reformation.
Every time I see Catholics worshipping relics on X, I think of this scene from the 2003 movie "Luther"
"As for myself, the priests assured me that by gazing at sacred relics, I could cut down my time in Purgatory. Luckily for me, Rome has enough nails from the Holy Cross to shoe every horse in Saxony. But there are relics elsewhere in Christendom. Eighteen out of twelve apostles are buried in Spain. And yet here in Wittenberg we have the pick of the crop… bread from the Last Supper, milk from the Virgin’s breast, a thorn that pierced Christ’s brow on Calvary, and 19,000 other bits of sacred bone. All authentic, ancient, sacred relics.”
The @NothingMajorPod boys should be doing all the commentary for @LaverCup with Andy Roddick.
Tennis opponent casually mentioned the work of Christopher Lasch to me in a changeover. Nature is healing.
For every one thing you can claim, with rock solid confidence, to have done for the good of another, there are a multitude of things you have done, knowingly or unknowingly, that are the opposite. There is no universe in which your good deeds can outweigh the bad. You need Jesus.
New converts should not be doing this kind of apologetics. They need to spend a considerable length of time learning how to pray, attending church, and serving in their community.
