Wait, wait, wait... Left-backs are allowed to overlap and cross the ball to their striker's head?
#OnThisDay 2014 Everton fans were singing 🎶You signed Lambert.. We signed Samuel Eto’o🎶 as the Cameroon International scored 2 in a 3-1 win at Dyche’s Burnley. Lukaku got the other. #UTFT  #EFC

And fans welcome Moshiri back to the stadium with open arms and give him celebrity treatment🤣
“777 is the best partner to take our great club forward,” then Everton owner Farhad Moshiri said in September 2023, after agreeing to sell his 94 per cent shareholding in Everton to private investment company 777 Partners. That quote, from the man whose tenure saw Everton reach the brink of administration, has not aged well. Just over three years on, Josh Wander, the co-founder of the Miami-based 777, has pleaded guilty to charges of defrauding the company's lenders and investors. This is how close Wander came to buying Everton — and why it serves as a cautionary tale with the club back up for sale again. 📝 @Paddy_Boyland 🔗 nyti.ms/4zHTsds

I’ve spent years on Twitter ferociously defending Jordan Pickford, so getting to interview him was pretty special. We spoke all things England, from receiving his first call-up 10 years ago today, to breaking Peter Shilton’s World Cup appearance record💙 fifa.com/en/tournaments/mens…

England have conceded three goals in a game six times since Jordan Pickford made his international debut in 2017. He's played in one of those matches

As correctly mentioned I missed the Netherlands game. Pickford record stands at twice in 91 matches, or five in 28 without him

Was a bit concerned about Pickford after the World Cup and toll that can take the following year. But he's been great so far. 3 goals conceded (T1st in PL) 3 clean sheets (T1st) 83.3% save percentage (2nd) 1.6 goals prevented (4th) 5 punches (T3rd) #EFC

I remember Jake O’Brien having a goal disallowed at Villa because Harrison Armstrong made a half-hearted jump towards the ball from an offside position. So not sure why that’s not been given offside?

To mark Jordan Pickford keeping his 100th Premier-League clean sheet, here’s just some of the footballers he’s left in utter disbelief🧨

People can do what they want & sometimes you simply have to leave early But there’s people who do this no matter what every game. What is the point in coming? Outside of winning a trophy, a last-minute goal is as good as it gets to watch live, and you’ll always miss that moment
