I’m pretty sure the context is he feels safer as a public speaker because of beefed up security since Charlie was assassinated. But, if you need a controversy to cling to, feel free. People have got to get back to the idea that context is king.

When my son was about 9, we went to a WWE House Show and thanks to a friend were gifted front row tickets. WWE Sign Guy was pretty much right next to us, and he couldn’t have been nicer. Was super cool to my kid, and his interactions with the boys was next level. RIP.

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of WWE Sign Guy Rick Achberger, today Sunday 9/27/26. He was an absolute great guy and loved talking with fans at the shows. He tackled some health problems a couple of years ago, but last month began to go downhill rapidly. Rest in peace.
