Today’s miracles just dropped: So I hop in my car to bring Julia cupcakes to celebrate her first half-marathon. Music on, windows down, blissfully unaware of the AT&T outage. I have 30 minutes to make the drop before a big meeting. Only problem is… I have no service and no sense of direction. I use google maps to get to places I’ve been 20 times. I have two phones. Both say “NO SERVICE.” I’m driving aimlessly, feeling like a melted snowman because I won’t get to live my cupcake fairy fantasy, and randomly start saying “Please give service to one of my phones” over and over. 5 minutes later, my work phone starts buzzing. IT’S BACK ONLINE. I start laughing hysterically. My other phone still has no service and stayed offline for 30 minutes. (HOW?!) I pop “Simona’s Coffee” into the GPS and do a happy dance. The cupcake fairy is flying high yet again, baby. I walk up the steps… only to find FIVE FRIENDS from @theboardtalks co-working outside. I notice an empty seat and say, “Is Julia here with you guys?!” “No, it’s just us, is Julia here too?!” OF COURSE! There are hundreds of coffee shops in Austin, and we all just happen to be at the same one on Thursday at 11 AM. Makes sense! I explore the coffee shop, find a tiny stairwell most people would’ve walked right past, and find Julia at the top with her friend. SWEET VICTORY, literally, as I give Julia her cupcake babies and a hug. I rush home and make it back right in time for my meeting, plopping into my chair with 2 minutes to spare. This is how magical things have been lately. I’m sending the same everyday miracles straight to your doorstep with overnight shipping. What a life. ✨
