Mason Taylor had 6 catches for 62 yards and 2 Touchdowns.
Omar cooper had 5 for 115 and a touchdown.
Braelon Allen had 100 yards rushing again.
But Sadiq and Garrett didn’t touch the ball enough so now things are embarrassing lmfao
We have had seasons where Garrett Wilson played with Randall Cobb & Allen Lazard at receiver. He was literally the only guy the defense would try to take away AND we had nobody to get him the ball. The complaint was that we need more weapons.
Now we have 2 Tight ends. two running backs and 2 more receiver targets on the offense to support and we are making a big fuss every week about one guy.
We need to freaking win so we can talk about something else already
If 3 guys on the offense have a big game and they win this Sunday but Garrett Wilson didn’t touch the ball enough I’d love to see what the discourse is like
Stop it… if they talked big and gave a quote fans would rail against them and say “big talk for a 2-5 team” and if things don’t go their way Sunday the fans and media would be circulating the quotes to trash on the team.
Then say “we deserve better as fans” save it
Why are all these guys trying to almost not make headlines? Always saying "The right Thing"
It makes no sense in this market. We want tough, we want MFers, we want passion, some swag.
I mean look at the last HC who succeeded here Rex - he was all of those things.
Not sure why these players are so afraid to come out and make a statement headline.
They happen to also play that way.
Let it out, geeze.
Play to win!

On this date in 2002 with the @nyjets at 2-5 and everyone counting them out Herm Edwards gave his famous "you play to win the game" rant. That week they destroyed an AFC West team turning around the season and won the AFC East.

What a weird jets game this was… had a few employees who were giants fans who were ready to talk so much smack. Jets saved me the misery

Did it last year already.. so everyone can piss off
Jets fans not wanting to trade away Garrett Wilson is why bad organizations stay bad and why the Jets have remained bad.
The trade market is hot right now and teams are getting great value. Compile draft picks, hit on those picks and improve your roster with cost-controlled assets.
It's the quickest path to rebuilding and becoming good again.
We need all the help we can get hope the jets are active on waivers
Sources: The #Bears are releasing DE Jamree Kromah.
The 26-year-old was a preseason star and one of Chicago’s highest-graded defenders in each of the last two weeks. However, the Bears needed the roster spot after trading for Jeffery Simmons.
Not the teams fault that 1. He got hurt over training camp when he was competing for a spot 2. The position he plays is covered by two guys who are playing fine 3. He doesn’t play special teams
"Not formally" requested a trade, but he made sure the message got out. 😂 When guys are airing this out publicly, it tells you everything about the state of this team. Complete mess. #Jets
Would be nice to have this type of outcome for once

Stand on that woe💯
Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty on facing the Jets: “I think we can definitely get the run game going, get back on track and just really get after these guys. Couple of guys out there that don’t really want to tackle, but I’m not going to say names.” (Via Raiders team website) #Jets
Jeanty is averaging 3.1 yards per rush.
Jets offense has to stay aggressive and finish the drives. Would be nice to get GW back over 100 yards, Sadiq a few catches and AD Mitchell going as well.
Might have to win by scoring 30 so get it done!
Nothing I’ve seen on tape for Sunday should prohibit Omar Cooper from having a 3rd straight 100 yard game and the Jets being able to move the ball with the young talent on offense. Whether they can get the requisite stops defensively and Geno can rip it consistently enough is a fair question but the talent should be there to have another big output
The Jets will have to do something about this on Sunday. M.
Not my problem if they don’t.
If a player gives bulletin board material… do something
Ashton Jeanty thinks some Jets defenders don’t want to tackle
