I’ve co-signed @labourlewis letter to Andy Burnham calling for public ownership of water.
We already have ‘public control’. It's failed. £85bn+ extracted by shareholders, sewage in our rivers, bills going up.
Now we need public ownership. Add your name: actionnetwork.org/petitions/…

And so here we are. This statement from Trump blows my mind. That a sitting president would not let any renovations to a public building go on unless he gets to first put his name in the said building… What a sad state of affairs. What a tragedy. Actually, how small minded, how narcissistic. Actually
great men, devoted to public service and the public good do not act like this.
It seems that this man will not rest until his name is permanently connected to the name of a great president, whose memory this building was dedicated to. Imagine spending your time and your days focused on this, as everyday Americans struggle with healthcare, gas prices, rent, and food. Imagine spending your days focused on this, while a war rages under your leadership.
Enough said. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is a rare photo of Donald Trump from 1934, helping Albert Einstein finish the theory of relativity. According to Trump, Einstein had been stuck for weeks.
“Very smart guy. Terrible with numbers. I looked at the board and said, Albert, put a little 2 up there. He loved it."

I for one have had enough of people who can barely speak English, living on welfare, ignoring our laws and going around with their faces covered up. So it was disappointing to see a few hundred of them gathered in Dover today.
That moment when you come across some obscure freeview channel and The Godfather is on. It doesn't matter that it's half way through, that you've seen it countless times, or that you have it on DVD and could watch it anytime... it's on and it's staying on.

That's funny... Charing Cross looked pretty open today when I arrived on a train this morning, left on a train this evening and passed through the station at lunch.
