Law and medicine are professions that work within a public trust contract. When creating a brand, you must treat communication as a science and a discipline to avoid putting your profession into disrepute and ruining your credibility, together with that of your colleagues.

These midterms are not about any of those social issues.
It is about
1. The war in Iran
2. The war in Iran.
3. Israel’s role in the US’ war in Iran.
4. The cost of living (see 1&2)
5. Immigration.

They are still narrativizing their wins using the language of identity politics.
Nothing about their policy agenda.
“Here is what they stood for and thus won over the electorate.”

I actually think the worst is journalists, professional ones who are paid or given incentives.. he isn’t wrong but a comedian podcaster is a lesser evil than what we see from mainstream journalists.. because how do we know reports are factual?
" You cannot go around receiving money from politicians – money we know is dirty – to host events and then call yourself a journalist," – Award-winning investigative journalist John Allan Namu takes issue with podcasters whose fame, he says, has gone to their heads, as they lecture Kenyans while allegedly receiving money from politicians left, right and centre!
What political objective could justify provoking the backlash being directed his way and the boos?
We all know he knew the audience in that room prefers Sifuna.
Why would he say what he said anyway?
Hon. Kalonzo and his handlers MUST do a better job of organizing his speeches. Today he has completely misread the room with his unsolicited advice. @edwinsifuna is a seasoned lawyer and former Secretary General of one of the biggest parties in Kenya. He knows the process of being nominated as presidential candidate.
Kalonzo should have spent his time building synergy and preaching opposition unity. Instead, he ended up inviting his own embarrassment and was eventually booed off the stage by an irritated crowd. My friend wakili @NjiruAdv please do a better job advising @skmusyoka on how to read the room and to deliver speeches that build synergy!

Instead of communicating against the match, they should communicate about the country. About the University of Nairobi and the financial pressures facing public higher education. About hospitals, access to medicine, health insurance, and the fact that we fundraise for treatment.
Replying to @Odangaring
Otherwise.. Bayern Munich and Ajax just signed up as the posterboys for William Rutos 2027 presidential campaign. Tough to see what counter the opposition would have to that
You do not need to mention the match to make the issues affecting kenyans important.
The spectacle is here to occupy public attention and its power comes from its ability to make itself the reference point around which other conversations revolve.
